More manufacturing jobs means better pay and better benefits for workers.
The US dollar will keep dropping unless we manufacture more, and fix the Federal Budget to spend less and borrow less. I expect that tariff revenue will fix the Federal budget, and save the US dollar.

... or it will happen something else in the chaotic system "economy" what no one yet is able to know. Perhaps the price for shrinking heads will grow astronomically high and save the world economy by including or excluding the US-economy. Perhaps I will send Donald Trump in this case a golden shrinkhead for his grave. We can't let him go naked to the good Lord without a golden shrunken head, isn't it?
