Yes. Some states are funny, several with standards for getting a permit far lower, where we honor theirs, even though they do not honor ours, such as Illinois, for example.
There is a reciprocity bill in the US house, where all states would recognize the official actions of other states, in relation to carry permits, just as all states recognize driver's license. Obviously, I favor it.

Interesting. I did not know that, but like I said, illinois does not recognize TN permit, so for me, would be like not having one.

I will be heading for far north part of Michigan, this summer. No Prob. I will head 130 miles east, to Nashville before turning north, taking me I-65 to I-69 to I-75 to just short of Canadian border. This will avoid Illinois completely. Fck Illinois.
