Does this occur to you and how often do you check the expiration dates ??

Also watch out when sugar goes bad !!

Salt is a rock, it doesn't spoil even after millions of years.

It's the anti-caking agents added to it that spoil.

Am I reading that right? Salt? Spoil? Salt was used to preserve meats on long sea voyages hundreds of years ago...

I use very little salt. I think the container I have now was bought in 1985.

Still looks and tastes fine, like salt.

What I hate is when things do not have expiration dates. One thing that smells awful when it goes bad is cantaloupe.
