I don't see this on my phone, but another poster was asking about it and I saw it when I got on my desktop:

Why does it fade out like that?

I see that rarely on posters here, not me. I thought it was bad SNIP cut/paste, so I skipped over.

Must be a glitch? Or you are a test case for shadow banning?

I've noticed something similar. Recently, when I try to copy and paste text from say, the OP's title, when I paste it into my message, the text often does not appear. You must be very careful how you copy it. But the text is actually there, just white or invisible.

I suspect this behavior is connected to your problem.

Companies keep changing software: First the manufacturer stops supporting an OS or web browser, change to a new code, then eventually, more and more incompatibilities creep in causing webpages not to load or operate right forcing web page owners to update their software accordingly as well.

My guess is that the fading text is just another sign of software version incompatibility.

Companies keep changing software in an effort to keep forcing new sales to keep profits elevated.

MacArthur thought so--Old soldiers never die they just---

I should point out that text never really "fade away." Every text character has embedded within it a "phase angle" value which rotates through 360° with various angles representing different colors.

Some of these colors are light gray and pale white.

So I think that what you see is not the text "fading" but something corrupting the meta data telling your computer which color,
hue and intensity to display certain text characters.

PS: Nothing faded out here, I merely altered the color phase angle of each line accordingly.

It happened to a couple of mine... I thought maybe it was a dark mode or light mode, that's not it

Background color too.

Fade away and burn out would work.

Unless you switched them on purpose.

I think the actual quote was its better to burn out than to fade away, as made famous by Neil Young.
yeeaahhhh, i wasa just doing it on purpose. you got me.
