My Opinion On The Motive Of The Shooter

There's a demarcation between wanting to know a motive and assuming a motive, and I mean pounding a square peg in a round hole. That's better left to the FBI, they have experience at this.

So, I guess you have given up in trying to debate him.
You need to change your handle to Independent NonThinker. What is there to debate? As this was his last post genius.

I didn't really say he did. I basically said he may have wanted to kill them both, even if he didn't dislike them. No one has said he hated Trump or Republicans. Can you post proof of that? And don't use The Gateway Pundit.
Yes, they have said he only hated Trump and the Republicans. Why are so many so unprepared to enter discussions in this forum?

You didn't even watch your own interview with the Hispanic guy. He said the shooter hated all politicians.

1. He was one of the many who disliked both candidates, both Biden and Trump, or maybe just both parties

2. He did searches as to where both Trump and Biden would be and when

3. Trump was the easiest first target so Trump got to go first, and, Biden might just be removed from the ticket anyway (or maybe even if Biden was replaced on the ticket he felt he still had a job to do, due to a dislike of both parties (his father was registered as a Libertarian))

4. The shooter recently posted on Steam that July 13th would be his "premier", indicating that he possibly expected the show to go on after Trump, especially considering he told his bosses he needed Saturday off and told his co-workers he would be back to work Sunday.
The Netrix Is a Spinning-Wheel

How dare you kick over all the pieces on our conspiracy board game? After I clean up the mess you made in my basement, I'm going to tell my Mommy to crank-call your Mommy!

neighbor friend has already said he hated trump

So prove it. A Hispanic classmate has said this guy hated ALL politicians, on both sides. So, yes, he may have hated Trump but he hated them all, on both sides.

The more information that we find out, the more we know he was a nutcase. It is hard to pinpoint a trigger point dealing with the mentally ill.
The real question is how some little nutcase twigboy was somehow able to defeat what is supposed to be the most elite group of bodyguards on the planet.
The SS has had a troubled history for over a decade

Every now and then you make sense

Kudos

What we think he was doing will be very different from what HE thought he was doing. It is totally possible he believed he was playing a role that wouldn't end in his death, for reasons that we aren't aware of, and probably will never know. That is as logical as the ever popular lone nut default.
It is hard to know what it is in mind of these shooters. One young man shot about 4 people and told the police he just wanted see if he could do it. John Lennon's killer told authorities that he loved Lennon's music but it wasn't right that he got more attention than Jesus. Nicholas Cruz, the Parkland High School shooter of 17, told a police psychologist, "I did it on Valentine Day because no one ever loved me." He was diagnosed with OCD and a variety of other mental disorders. He was know well to the police as a troublemaker. He was a racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, and xenophobic. He claimed he was going to kill people, legally bought the guns and did it and no one tried to stop him.

None of his school peers said he hated Trump and Republicans. In fact, one said the kid was definitely conservative. His Parents weren't even Republicans. His mother was a registered Democrat and his father was registered as a Libertarian.
On USMB, it may seem that all decisions are politically based but in real life, very few are other than casting a vote on election day.

==> I think... I know why Crooks wanted to kill Trump. It's probably about mental health issues. Amen!

Based on the available information, there are indications that Thomas Matthew Crooks may have had some mental health issues. Here are some key points from the sources:

1. There is no known history of diagnosed mental health problems for Crooks, but a search of his cellphone revealed that he had typed "major depressive disorder" at some point in time.

2. Sources suggest that Crooks may have been struggling with an undiagnosed mental health disorder, including some form of depression.

3. Crooks' mother mentioned that he was suffering from mental issues and dealing with anger problems.

The FBI stated that they have not found any history of mental health issues for Crooks, but investigations are ongoing.

It is important to note that the available information provides some insights into Crooks' mental health, but a comprehensive understanding may require further investigation and analysis. Mental health is a complex and sensitive topic, and it is crucial to approach it with empathy and respect.

Most people seem to believe that all that is needed to get help for those with mental illness. The fact is that serious mental illness is very difficult to treat much less cure. There are drugs that can control psychosis but they have such terrible side effects that no wants to take them. Imagine trying to get your 18 year old psychotic son to take drugs that will will control the psychosis but leave him devoid of emotions and sexually impotent
