My Opinion On The Motive Of The Shooter

Sadly many who see a minority or female in a position have this idea that they are unqualified.

It's quite sad.

In 1964 LBJ set up a in-house committee with a fired CIA director as a member, and Gay Edgar Hoover running the show. He did this because Congress was initiating their own, and he snipped that in the bud. That was bad enough, but didn't show the zapruder film for 10 years, and then they sealed the records for 75 years to finish off the play. No, that doesn't tend to generate confidence, especially in folks that remember it. These new people might have more tolerance for such things now.

Have to disagree. I’ve seen nothing about him disliking Biden or Democrats. His school piers said he hated only Trump and Republicans. It’s why his party affiliation is irrelevant. He joined because his parents were Republicans. Most kids do when 18.

4. The shooter recently posted on Steam that July 13th would be his "premier", indicating that he possibly expected the show to go on after Trump, especially considering he told his bosses he needed Saturday off and told his co-workers he would be back to work Sunday.

He was hopelessly naive if he really thought he would have a chance at a second target, assuming he lived through the first one and the subsequent man-hunt. Expect Quid Pro to show up behind glass, if he does.

The most common reason for shooting presidents and other high profile public figures is the need to be noticed. Generally these people are loners, outcasts often suffering from mental illness. Oswald had expressed his admiration for Kennedy. Reagan’s shooter was trying to impress Jodie Foster. Teddy Roosevelt’s shooter was being directed by a dead man. The shooters reason has little to do with politics.

That may be the case. I was just telling my wife the other day that maybe he did it just to show everyone involved in his school's rifle club that he was a good shot after all.

I didn't really say he did. I basically said he may have wanted to kill them both, even if he didn't dislike them. No one has said he hated Trump or Republicans. Can you post proof of that? And don't use The Gateway Pundit.

This kind of backs up my OP that maybe he planned on shooting both. According to that video, the Hispanic guy said that the shooter hated all politicians and the investigation shows he searched up both Trump and Biden.
