If any of you watched CNN today, you may have noticed a headline with the name, "ALASKA IS COLD TOO!".
Well, the guy who alerted them was my old man. He sent them an email before I left school explaining that, while it's -30 in Russia, it's -40 in Alaska, and boom, on CNN the next day. Pretty neat, eh?
