A transsexual is a person who sometimes wears clothes of the opposite sex; typically a male who cross-dresses occasionally by habit or compulsion. Transvestite should not be confused with transgender or transsexual, a person who lives as a member of a sex different from their birth sex. A transvestite usually has no desire to change their sex.

In today's world, Children are as well informed about sex as most parents. Attempting to hide any sexual subject just perks their interest. By the time they leave grade school they know about homosexual and heterosexuals sex, transgender, and gay marriage. They have kids in their class with gay parents some kids are already identifying themselves as gay. Practically all of them are exploring their sexuality in one way or another which includes masturbation, pornography, and sexual experimenting with the same and opposite sex. Books described in this thread aren't likely to have any impact on the sexual preference of kids.

Why should have sexual content? Simple because it's important to children. The very fact that we exclude sexual content in children's books sends a message that it's of no importance, which children know is lie. We make sex secretive and lie to them, setting them up for problems that will be with them all their lives.
