I get so sick of apologists who can't just condemn the brutality and oppression of Islam unless they make the claim that Christianity is equally criminal.

Islam considers Christ a prophet, but they sure don't follow his words. My belief is that the difference between Christianity and Islam is that when a Christian goes to war in Christ's name, he is going against Christ's teachings, but when a Muslim goes to war in Muhammad's name, he is following Muhammad's teachings.

I was treated badly by a catholic woman I do not hate all Catholics, in fact I have several who are my friends and agree what that woman did was wrong and against their churches teachings.

Never been to Orcas Island so I can't say for sure, but I'm betting there are a lot more good Christians there than bad ones, too bad none of them were near your brother so they could help him.
