Musk to Rescue Astronauts

So counting the two I just found (and how many failures have there been in total) that's 2/300 = 1/150 = 0.6%, I wouldn't get on that heap of junk myself.

Now you are just being a jackass.

What was the mean failure% of the space shuttle?

Better than the Space Shuttle.

Yes, well Musk has reaped the rewards of the huge public investment in space technology made by the taxpayer since the late 1940s. All the work was done for him already, as Chomsky and others have said many times, this is a welfare state for the rich.

LMAO, so why has Boeing had such a hard time? Hmmm?

Boeing's troubles are managerial, 100% attributable to poor quality leadership, seeking to maximize dollars. If the management team wanted quality they'd have gotten quality, that's what management do - set strategic goals and achieve them, that's their job.

But they are supposed to be reaping the rewards of the huge public investment in space technology made by the taxpayers since the 1940s --- as you put it. That is not to mention the HUGE taxpayer subsidies that Boeing has enjoyed over that time as well. Maximizing dollars? Has something changed? Haven't they always had that goal? I put the blame on their management as well, however, but for a vastly different socialist reason as they sought to become, WOKE, embraced DEI and failed in demanding accountability.

Nope, this is why management teams get bonuses, if they don't hit goals they don't get bonus, if quality was a goal and they want their bonus then we'd get quality, if the manage team don't know their company has quality control issues then they are not competent managers, and that means the management team are at fault.

This is nothing to do with "socialism", the US is (sadly) very poor when it comes to socialist ideas in government.

WRONG, quality products sell themselves. Tesla, Starlink, Space X.

Oh, I see the problem here. You listen to Chomsky.

Musks engineers have advanced space travel, further, and safer, than any before them you stupid moron.

Yeah, DEI!

DUMBASS!

I've never heard of anyone, gov't or civilian that launches as many satellites into orbit in as short amount of time as Musk. He is a doer.
That's because no one ever has. Space X launches on an unheard of schedule.
