Musk has a point but perhaps his adhd prevents him expressing himself clearly.
You only have to see the people they elected to think that they arent the brightest sparks.
But I believe what he is really driving at is that Americans want to be paid properly for doing a job. Its far easier to make a profit with a pool of virtual slave labour on hand.
Ideologically thats where his heart is.

Sure, the rich want cheap workers. But the other problem is they have to pretend they don't. Like Boris, "get Brexit done" and pretend that Brexit will solve all the immigration issues because they'll "take back control" and in the end they have record immigration.

When I went to engineering school, back in 1980s, I was one of the VERY FEW Americans attending.

Now my son is attending a very prestigious engineering college. Most of the students are foreigners.

Foreigners get educated in AMERICAN engineering colleges, the get H1B visas and work for American companies. Most accept lower salaries than Americans.

The real problem is that Americans do not want to study STEM. Americans go to school for business, finance and banking - where the 'real' money is. STEM employees don't make very much as compared to people in the financial sector - so we need H1Bs or we won't have anyone in STEM.

Why srudy something diffirult wgen you can make good money grifting like Charlie Kirk.
Then when you qualify your wages are undercut by musk sponsored slaves.
