In an editorial in yesterday's Wall Street Journal, editor Gerard Baker, urged Republicans to dump Don Trump.
You may need a subscription to read the editorial. But here is a taster:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Gerard Baker, the editor-at-large of The Wall Street Journal, urged Republicans to publicly denounce Donald Trump and the former president’s baseless claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

In an opinion piece published Monday, Baker wrote that many prominent Republicans and major donors don’t actually believe Trump’s election lies and would love for him to “go quietly away.”

“It is a desire expressed as fervently in private as it is assiduously and dexterously avoided in public,” said Baker, who served as the conservative newspaper’s editor-in-chief.......

Republicans worry Trump leading the presidential ticket in 2024 will be a “lose-lose” situation and the GOP is “is too important a political institution to continue to be a vehicle for this grand deception,” he added.

“Will someone speak that truth at least?” Baker concluded.
-------------------------------------------------------

So there is that.
When the dyed-in-the-wool conservative platform such as the WSJ (owned by Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News and employer of Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham) publishes this editorial....well, it is notable.

I highly doubt though, that Carlson, or Hannity, or Ingraham will remark on this editorial on the air.

IMHO

They should dump trump. It is time to move on, show some self-respect, and work on their own images as well as what used to be a respected political party, that stood for something instead of bending over for someone.

I see the concern trolls are very concerned over the topic they are concerned trolling about in a concerned manner.

Murdoch is a pragmatist rather than a puritan. He dumped John Major smartly enough when he could see him sinking. He also felt he could get what he needed from Blair.

He is still a shit.

Lefties would love the right to Dump Trump.

But I doubt it'll happen.

Righties are in no mood to do ANYTHING for lefties these days.

Over half the party wants to stick it to the lefties, and the best in-your-face move they can make us to re-elect Trump, and better yet, unleash him.

Lefties better be scared to death if Trump gets re-elected. Because this time, what Hillary said will come true. They're all going to fry.

They should do it for themselves not the left wing fringe wackos.
Pay no attention to Hillary. That was about the only thing you guys did right, defeating her and making her irrelevant, even if she proved too smart for the Republicans in Congress and the Senate or their legal teams. I think the country has her number for the most part, just like we have Trumps, with only the fringes still with any misguided loyalty to either.

Over half the party wants to stick it to the lefties,
Libtards are sure afraid of Donald
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guys, guys....you are too defensive. Trying too hard.
There's little to no need here to get so discombobulated over "lefties".
After all, the Wall Street Journal editorial focused on Republicans.
Didn't you read the editorial?
Jeeeez!!!
I can lead a horse to water but I can't make him fish.

Here's a taster from the OP:
