The reason is because 'Muslims' are / 'Islam' is on the Liberal 'List Of Protected Groups / Persons', exempt from the criticisms and condemnations reserved for those Liberals deem deserve.

We must not INSULT / OFFEND Muslims, therefore, we do not openly criticize them for almost anything...

Other Groups / Persons on this list include 'BLM', Planned Parenthood, Obama, & Hillary....

I heard an Australian Rep this morning asked how he felt about what is going on in regards to the movement / call to tear down Confederate Monuments and how it is begin to spread to monuments of our Founding Fathers. He was unaware that it had grown to this point but he was shocked and appalled the US was destroying its own history to appease those who are 'offended by it'.

His opinion echoed mine. We, as a nation, are not who we were but are who we are NOW. We are the result of the journey, the transformation, the struggles we have gone through. We should not attempt to ignore all of that, attempt to turn our backs on all of that, attempt to deny or forget everything we have gone through to get to where we are no as a nation.

Destroying reminders of our past, destroying our history, does not change our past or wash us clean of our 'sins'. Our past is a part of who we are, but it is not who we are.

Actually considering that President George Washington signed the law that US ships (the ones flying the Union Jack) could not take part in the slave trade, outside of a few years in the US the only time a Union Jack was flying on a slave ship, it was smuggling.

And considering the African Slave Trade sent about 12 million slaves to the new world, and most estimates place about 100k slaves or less being part of the slave trade to the US after we'd gotten our freedom (most of the slave trade to the colonies was under British rule, breeding slaves was found to be much cheaper), I think your numbers are a lie there.
