Yep, Rap and the reality programs pretty much killed MTV. The only good things after the 90's were Grunge and Beavis and Butthead, in my opinion.I was impressed by all the videos.
Music television was cutting edge at that time. And, being able to tie your stereo speakers into your TV ...
High tech stuff back in the day.

I stopped watching MTV when the rap bullshit took it over.

For me it was definitely the Duran Duran videos, "Hungry Like The Wolf", and "Rio", that caught my eyes AND ears. Michael Jackson's videos were fun, as were ZZ Top's. (RIP, Dusty Hill) So, which early MTV videos impressed you the most?
