MTV celebrates its 40th Anniversary tomorrow. In remembrance of the station, which early videos impressed you most?

I was impressed by all the videos.

Music television was cutting edge at that time. And, being able to tie your stereo speakers into your TV ...

High tech stuff back in the day.

Oh and I thought Martha Quinn was HOT !!!

I stopped watching MTV when the rap bullshit took it over.

Watch VH1 for awhile.

Now it's all a day gone by.

Yep, Rap and the reality programs pretty much killed MTV. The only good things after the 90's were Grunge and Beavis and Butthead, in my opinion.

For me it was definitely the Duran Duran videos, "Hungry Like The Wolf", and "Rio", that caught my eyes AND ears. Michael Jackson's videos were fun, as were ZZ Top's. (RIP, Dusty Hill) So, which early MTV videos impressed you the most?
Headbangers Ball and the Big Hair 80's was it for me.
But I hate MTV...I hold them responsible for launching the Leftist movement.
