MTG, as terrible as she is, didn't do that. She said what she believed and she took a lot of criticism from her own base for it. That's principled in my book. Out of her many, many faults, I can at least say that she didn't just sway the way that she needed to in order to get power. She easily could have just kissed Trump's ass, like all the others do, and been set up for life for doing that. She didn't.

While I think she was right to press some issues, she used the same bombastic approach on things against him as she did for him. There is a wrong way to do the right thing. That might be her biggest problem.

I will agree with your final sentences though. I am just a little suspicious as to why.
