Why would she defend him? Just don't.

I think she would have lost. Even if she wins, she's in a very awkward position supporting the President but being against his stance on this certain topic, and dividing the base.

Better to just leave on her own terms before that mess unfolds.

While I think she was right to press some issues, she used the same bombastic approach on things against him as she did for him. There is a wrong way to do the right thing. That might be her biggest problem.

She was recently all over TV talking about this, including Bill Maher and The View.

I'm not sure if she specifically mentioned this on those appearances, but she definitely has mentioned it in recent CNN interviews, including with Dana Bash.

It feels like a gut punch. Either she was threatened by the Israeli lobby Or bribed by them.

Other possibility which I hope is that she has bigger aspirations for maybe a Senate seat or something like that. Either way it’s a gut punch and it’s bad for “America first” in the short term….. bad for people who want to get to the bottom of the Epstein files and who want to end the genocide in Gaza again in terms of the short term outlook.

Sad. She going to let that conman win. She was gaining momentum and the ex-MAGA crowd (me included) saw her as part of the emerging "America First" Party.
