Well, Money talks. And all those well heeled entrepreneurs want cheap labor, and hence, they have major sway in our so-called "democratic " process. It's amazing, American workers fought for basic benefits and for workers rights. All that goes out the window when businesses sidestep federal immigration laws, push legislators to counter immigration laws because, well, it's good for business. Let's face it America is hamstrung by the democratic process, so the top 1% found a way to manipulate the government and sidestep all those pesky American workers/voters. But let's be clear, they don't want to harrass people for being immigrants, they do want to foster better relationships in immigrant communities
