A lot of corporate types don't have a working class background, and so they view things from a perspective that is more representative of the echo chambers that exist on elite college campuses. Look into the educational backgrounds of many executives and the neighborhoods they grew up in. You'll see a lot of Ivy Leaguers and people that grew up in lilywhite neighborhoods in the Northeast, MidAtlantic, and West Coast. These people don't get the rural mindset or way of life.

A lot of what is called progress is more like regression. The West may become more liberal, but not necessarily the rest of the world. Japan, for example, is more liberal about certain things now, but they still value tradition in a lot of things. They seem to have a healthier cultural balance than the West in general. Poland seems to have a healthier balance than us as well.

Each country moves left at their own pace... my point is they all move left cause it’s the nature of the game.
