The first one is all violent crimes, the others are just murders. The years may be different also.

The stats are not very good as not all jurisdictions report to the FBI.

The upshot is the highest murders and violent crimes are in blue cities, not urban red areas. 4-5 times (or more) the national average in many of those cities.

Seattle's crime rate is more than double the WA State average and it doesn't even make the list...

The other thing is murders in US cities rose dramatically from 2020-2023. Like 30% or more in cities where the rioting went unchecked.

Compound that with the defunding of police depts. and you get a catastrophe for law enforcement in those places...

The list includes more than murders. It's all violent crimes so includes aggravated assaults, rapes, etc.

The links are murders only, so Albuquerque lower on murders, but makes up for it in other crimes...
