Most murderous states for 2021 are Blood Red

What happened? You had Jindel for 8 year to 2016, supported Trump by a large margin for President that year, but did not want another Republican Governor?
.

He ran against Vitter in 2016.

It still has more to do with the fact the majority of the state is Red,
but the major metro areas are Blue.
Former Secretary Clinton was not that popular with the Blue voters here either way.

I have no idea. I didn't vote for Dumb Bell Edwards.

The real problem, I think, is that nobody knew who Eddie Rispone was. He basically came out of nowhere and wound up running against an incumbent governor. He had never run for political office and came out of the construction industry. Edwards barely won, however.

They also held the election on a day when a huge game between LSU and the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) was on TV. That actually played a part in the election as a lot of people stayed home to watch the game. Crazy stuff, man, but LSU football is huge down here. And Ole Miss is a huge rival of ours.
That is hilarious! You guys do take your football serious. There is something very politically laid back about that. You guys know your priorities.:D

I cannot remember his name, but there used to be a judge that would cancel court on Fridays during football season ...
Because he had LSU Season Tickets and wasn't missing the tailgate parties on Saturday.

Recapping the 5 most murdering states:
  1. Louisiana
  2. Alabama
  3. Mississippi
  4. Missouri
  5. Alaska
Where are the conservative threads on these places? Perhaps conservatives don’t really want to solve problems and just want to politicize fear?

BTW California is trending lower than Texas and Florida.

States with the Highest Murder Rates

Louisiana has the highest murder rate in the U.S. of 14.4 murders per 100,000 residents. Murders were more than twice as common in Louisiana as they were nationwide. Murders are disproportionately concentrated in urban areas, especially New Orleans. New Orleans has a murder rate of about 37 per 100,000 residents, one of the highest of any U.S. city, followed by Baton Rouge with a murder rate of 35.1.

Alabama has the second-highest murder rate of 12.9 murders per 100,000 residents. This is also more than twice the rate nationwide. In Alabama, Birmingham has the most gun violence and, therefore, the highest murder rate of 37.1. Fairfield, Anniston, Pritchard, and Troy are other cities with the highest murder rates in Alabama.

Mississippi has the third-highest murder rate in the United States. Mississippi’s murder rate is 12.7 murders per 100,000 residents. According to the latest FBI data, Jackson had the most murders in 2018 of 78, which is a murder rate of 47 murders per 100,000 residents. Brookhaven has the highest murder rate in the state of 57.7 murders per 100,000 people.

Missouri has the fourth-highest murder rate of 11.3 murders per 100,000 residents. Murders in Missouri are disproportionately concentrated in metropolitan areas – about 90% of murders committed in 2017 in Missouri were committed in metropolitan areas. St. Louis and Kansas City are two of the most dangerous cities in the United States. In 2017, St. Louis had 205 murders and Kansas City had 150.

Those states have the most black folks, too. What are you getting at?

Her not being popular speaks well of your electorate.

Yeah, Missouri, too. Alaska has Indians.
Missouri is only 11.8% TN is 15.8% and didn't even rate. On murder and violence, you'd think Memphis would have at least gotten us an honorable mention,

Wow. Does this make everyone think twice about going to Alabama, Louisiana, or Florida over Baltimore, Detroit, and Chicago? Incredible… what an eye opener. Who knew I would be safer walking in these cities vs the three states.

Cali has the most GOP voters. Can’t measure by states. Do it by cities and then see who runs the cities.
Hell if you compare NYC to any of these states it’s a magnitude of times safer in the city. These are violent states that have race issues and violence issues and drug issues and alcohol issues and poverty issues and education issues and are blood red voter blocks. Emphasis on blood.

You didn’t read what I said obviously. Well done.
