More Trump is about Social Security

From the link:
"In other words, yes, many seniors will get a new tax break, but (a) it’s temporary, unlike the tax giveaways to the wealthy; (b) it doesn’t apply to everyone; and (c) to characterize this as eliminating taxes on Social Security benefits is ridiculous."

1. There is no tax giveaway to the wealthy, its the exact same top tax rate since 2017.
2. It applies to those seniors making less than $150,000 a year, which covers 90% of us
3. It is a $6,000 to $12,000 tax cut which easily overs the tax on SS
Thanks for laying out the facts, the Dembots can't rely on facts, they have to lie

Goal is permanent. I was surprised they got the other cuts through.

No, and the deduction is miniscule if at all.

The point is that a Federal Agency is being used to promote a partisan political message.

This, like so many other Trump regieme things, smacks of police states and dicatatorships.

And you're here cheering and trying to deflect from the core point.

This would have been unthinkable in the US (and most of the other democratic world) before the Trump regime.

It is inexcusable now.
How does sending an email telling folks that 90 percent of them will not have to pay taxes on their SS benefits, smack of a police state and dictatorship?

Why do you think $6K up to $12K is miniscule? How rich are your parents that are taking care of you?
