In a Republic, actually
“Congressional Republicans have yet to break the record for most retirements in a single year, but some say it’s only a matter of time before widespread frustration with the current state of Washington leads to a tipping point as many in the party head for the exits.”

The irony, of course, is that it’s Republicans who made Washington toxic.

The problem isn't Washington or Congress, the problem is Republicans.

And this mass exodus has everything to do with Republicans losing the House next November, not frustration with governance.

Joe Biden and his junta and their lawfare made D.C. toxic.

Toxic democrats made DC toxic with their extortionist shutdown.
Democrat geezers should have left before being so out of touch with voters.

It's always a "toxic environment" or some other bullshit excuse.

Fact is that people are tired of limp-dicked "republican" poseurs, who campaign like libertarians then govern like the shitlibs they reputedly oppose...So they run away and blame the customers who are sick of their shit.

Since far too many Congressmen stay far too long, it's not a bad thing that there will be some turnover. That's what the Founding Fathers wanted and expected, not this Permanent Ruling Class of corrupt thugs.

Of course, you're wrong.
You're always wrong.
The problem is Democrats. How can any rational person work with the likes of Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Presley, Jasmine Crockett, Maxine Waters, Al Green, Adam Schiff, AOC, Eric Swalwell ... the list is long and that's only a small sample of these irrational madmen, Communists and America haters.
I wouldn't work with assholes like them either.

That's what you think. We'll see about that. :laugh2:

There was no such extortion. Republicans made DC toxic beginning with Gingrich.
