It's a shame that men like this one aren't getting up at the mosques around the world and giving this message instead of so many radical clergymen inciting their members to kill. Think at how peaceful many regions would be.

‘Moderate Muslims Must Rise Up Against Terrorists Instantly’‘Enemies Of Humanity’

According to a video just released, the Islamic State terrorist group beheaded the Japanese journalist Mr Kenji Goto. This recent barbaric and vicious act proves yet again that terrorist groups in the Middle East are not just enemies of the civilized world, but all humanity. I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the Japanese victims and to the Japanese nation.

The international outrage and grief terrorists are creating around the world reveals their animosity not just to Non-Muslims but also against the Islamic world. We as Muslims have a moral responsibility to eradicate terrorism or risk alienating the rest of the civilized world. One of the fundamental problems we currently face as Muslims regarding the spread of terrorist acts is that a group of barbarians and maniacs are causing so much harm around the world in the name of our religion.

Interesting story! He should be asked to speak at the UN and educate the rest of them.

Those are the ones that perform clitectomies with scalpels rather than glass bottle shards, right?

They do. From the Awakening in Iraq, to the combating of AQAP and Al Shabaab in Yemen and Somalia respectively to the fighting of AQIM and Boko Haram. Most forces fighting radical Islamists are Muslim.

Sons of Iraq - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia
Overview
The movement started among Sunni tribes in Anbar Province in 2005 to become an ad hoc armed force across the country in less than a year.[5]

The awakening fighters in Iraq have been credited by many independent analysts with reducing levels of violence in the areas in which they operate;[6] however, the rapid growth of the groups, whose salaries were initially paid for completely by the US military, has also led to concerns about allegations of some members' past activities fighting against coalition forces and concerns of infiltration by al-Qaeda.[5] Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has warned that the US-armed 'concerned local citizens' are an armed Sunni opposition in the making, and has argued that such groups should be under the command of the Iraqi Army or police.[7]

The Iraqi Defense Ministry has said that it plans to disband the Sunni Awakening groups so they do not become a separate military force.[8] The Iraqi government plans to absorb approximately a quarter of the Awakening groups into security service or the military, but analysts fear what will happen to the remaining three-quarters. The US is urging the Iraqi government to rapidly integrate the Sunni fighters into the national Shia-led security forces. Some experts warn there are similarities between the awakening councils and armed groups in past conflicts that were used for short-term military gains but ended up being roadblocks for state building.[9] In 2009, some awakening groups threatened to set the streets ablaze and "start a tribal war" after not doing well in elections.[10]

"Moderate" moslems?

Have the devotees of “immoderate Islam” cowed the “moderates” into silence? Or have the “moderates” realized that, since they’ve decided to “edit” the koran and the other dictates of Muhammud (swish) to remove the nasty parts—quite an excision, that—in outright contradiction of the koran’s doctrinal status as the literal, unmodifiable, uninterruptable word of Mo' (swish), therefore they’re not really Moslems at all?

I am simply pointing out that she is utilizing the same discourse that terrorist groups like ISIS depend on for their perceived legitimacy. She is supporting their dialogue by buying into their propaganda of what Islam is. She literally sounds like a terrorist.

The best way to combat radical groups like Al Qaeda is to deny their Islamic nature and insist that Islam is different; they depend on that identity in order to push their legitimacy. Take it away from them and they can't operate very extensively. By insisting that they are the only TRUE expression of Islam in the world you empower them.

No one is denying that it is mainly Muslims that other Muslims are murdering and that there are Muslim governments fighting these terrorists. However, can you possibly give us a list of several incidents around the world where Muslims were actually saying what this brave Saudi was saying. I seem to have missed all these incidents. If Muslims were actually speaking out like this young Saudi man did, do you think he would have written anything?

Meanwhile, it looks like some Muslims in Spain didn't get the message and would rather help the terrorists.

This Imam certainly is not going to do as the young Saudi man suggests. And he is not alone because there are many Imams who incite their people to kill instead of telling their people to be peaceful.

No she wasn't. You have practically bragged that you are so scholarly in this particular subject, but you have never given it one thought that she might have also studied this subject thoroughly.

ISIS is the only true expression of Islam. One can stick their head in the sand for as long as one wants but the truth is the truth.

It seems you're using the "hurting moslems' feelings" canard to defend islamic fascism. You don't identify how my condemnation of islamism is supportive of ISIS propaganda because, well, the claim is really pretty silly. You may have missed it but I'm not the one separating moslem's heads from their torsos to the droning accompaniment of Allahu Akbar. That's being done by moslems.

Your use of apologetics to defend islamic fascism is not surprising. However, I really have no issue with being uncompromising in my condemnation of that.

I'll further my observation of the alleged "moderate" moslems with a look at the islamist paradise of Pakistan. The horrific use of blasphemy laws in Pakistan is difficult to read about. It’s nothing more than a story of state-sanctioned vigilantism ready to step in at any point whenever a Moslem has a dispute with a Christian, wants to welsh on a debt to a Christian, wants a Christian’s lands, wants to set up a food stand in front of a Christian’s place of business, or objects to a Christian’s unwillingness to convert to Islam—and wants to get a leg up by, well, bearing false witness. I was hoping you can give us a working excuse to justify that by suggesting I'm responsible because I "sound like a terrorist".

Murder (sometimes by cops), imprisonment, beatings, sexual abuse, and other forms of mistreatment occur on the thinnest of evidence, invariably involving the Christian victim’s first having inexplicably determined that life for him or her— as a tiny minority in a rabidly Muslim society like Pakistan—can most certainly be made better by finding creative ways to provoke Moslem neighbors.

Deny their islamic nature? "Shirley", you jest. As it applies to Islamic ideology, war, conquest and murder in the name of their arab pope/king: muhammud (swish), is their nature.

We're told most every day that islamic terror isn't Islamic. That the koran and the sunnah do not provide sanction for acts of terror (and it seems that many of us haven't even bothered to do any fact-checking on that critical claim). The sneering islamist apologists appeared in their white flowing robes, form letter in hand, for news interviews. They serenely told us that their tolerant faith had been "hijacked" by extremists. Even former President Bush and now B. Hussein Obama assured the nation that Islam is a religion of peace. Everyone wanted to believe this nonsense in spite of the continuing jihad attacks! Jetliners had been slammed into the WorldTradeCenter's monolithic towers, the Pentagon, and a field in rural Pennsylvania killing thousands, and Moslems were seen celebrating from Manhattan to GazaCity. Westerners were ready to buy into the lie that Islam is a religion of peace, and that these were just some generic terrorists who were slaves to that snappy evil rhythm. Or worse, they were willing to consider that flawed American foreign policy made extremists in Moslem lands act out this way (kind of how enraged, radical, heavily armed Episcopalians are slaughtering their way across North America).

The islamist mass murderers of al-Qaeda and all other jihad groups are simply pious Moslems who know their koran and sunnah, and who are following the books to the letter. They are back in those, glorious days of rutkless conquest and murder for muhammud (swish) when these books were written—the days when they enjoyed so much success at fighting, killing, and colonialism, crusading or otherwise. As then, now.
