if this debacle in virginia--where they have eliminated 6 out of 8 gop candidates--and it comes back to gop establishment shenanigans--you can bet it will come down on romney's head--like you've never witnessed before.

No one is sweeping Romney, JoeBigot: his nomination is inevitable, unless Old Man Paul can pull it off. If he does, Obama wins by more than 60%. At least you would be happy.

Romney will probably lose by the same margin, so yeah, wouldn't make a difference to me.

Heck, your whole rationale behind supporting Romney is "everyone else sucks", not how Great Romney is.

That's not a winning ticket. That's McCain. That's Dole. That's John Kerry. That is the roster of losers.

If the GOP can't find anyone better than Romney- a failed, one-term governor who has lost 75% of the races he's ever been in, maybe we need to stop trying to be a major political party.

If it can't win advocating its principles, maybe it deserves to be.

If the GOP can't sell a platform of self-reliance, of limited government, of freedom, and the only way to win is to fool "moderates" into thinking your guy is really one of them, maybe we don't deserve to win.

Because really, a Romney/Obama contest is the contest of the lesser of two liberals.

I'll vote for the one who doesn't belong to a cult started by a jail-bait con-man.
