People have paid for their Medicare. Go ahead, try and end it.

The irony there, of course, is that hardly anyone has lobbied harder to "put Medicare on the table" than Biden. Yet he sits in the WH today. Has he ever apologized for that? Have Democrats ever even pressured him to recant any of that nonsense?

What is conservative health policy ?
Over here it consists of strangling the nhs of funds and selling off the profitable bits to private companies.Thats it basically.

My policy is to let states run their own health care programs, if they so choose.

For example, Massachusetts had Romneycare and voted for Republican Scott Brown to stop Obamacare. No Republican had won there in a very long time, but won because he ran on stopping Obamacare. But then the democrats used Reconciliation to bypass the democratic vote by the people and the rest is history.

This way all states can experiment and see the other failures or success instead of putting all your eggs in one basket win/lose/or draw. Also, people have the freedom to move to a state with policies they like

And lastly, the Federal government can then play referee if wronged by their particular state health care plan. As it stands now, the Federal government runs with the ball and pretends to referee, something they should not be doing.

The fact is there is no choice but Medicare. No one has offered one and there most likely will never be one.

So saying it's popular isn't saying much at all.

The fact that there is no choice and ending it would mean no health coverage for people forced to use it in no way means that it is popular just that there is no other choice.
