You are clueless.
Clueless about what?
Romney went to France.
And he supported this country's invasion of Vietnam..and the draft.

does military service, or the lack thereof, disqualify someone from public office?
John Kerry is going to get benefits from the Wounded Warrior Program for his paper cut.
John Kerry is a war hero.
The right trashed his service for cheap political gain.
Contradicting his statements as a candidate for president, Sen. John Kerry claimed in a 1971 television interview that he threw away as many as nine of his combat medals to protest the war in Vietnam.
"I gave back, I can't remember, six, seven, eight, nine medals," Kerry said in an interview on a Washington, D.C., news program on WRC-TV called Viewpoints on Nov. 6, 1971, according to a tape obtained by ABCNEWS.
"We threw away the symbols of what our country gave us for what we had gone through," he said.
Many veterans were seen throwing their medals and ribbons over the fence in front of the U.S. Capitol. The Boston Globe and other newspapers reported that Kerry was among these veterans.

Not at all.
But I think people should know what they are voting for..
Romney was in favor of sending other kids to the fight..while he went to France.
His religion didn't seem to get in the way of that point of view.
See how much they respect heroic military service?

Kerry got his butt to where the war WAS; Romney stayed AWAY(.) What war has Obama been eligible to serve in? He was too young for Vietnam. I do consider service during combat, and outside of combat, as a factor. That is why I voted for GORE, KERRY then McCain.

Service during combat makes a soldier harder emotionally....but does not make one more of a soldier than one that does not see combat.
For even during times of peace, a soldier is always prepared to go to combat....and that mnental preparation is what makes a soldier a soldier.

My thanks to your father.
But I am sure your father would agree that those thats SERVE include those that served during peacetime.
Adopt the Starship Trooper method of citizenship. Only those who served in the military are citizens and can vote. Lifetime welfare recipients can't vote.
