Military made decisions without Trump being included

Are we expected to take lib liars at the Wall St Journal’s word for this story?
You don't even believe the Iranian school was blown up by the U.S. You live in a deranged MAGA fantasy world.

Military leaders have no choice but to ignore Trump and his white supremacist lackey Pete Hegseth.

They are both deranged and they both want to commit war crimes in Iran. Obviously, military leaders will have to refuse to follow those orders.

This situation could get very ugly over the next few months between the top generals vs the imbeciles Trump and Hegseth.
You're speaking of treason.

The military leadership has autonomy on the battlefield and in theater operations and don't need to bother the President. Likely they'll send it up the chain to the JCS, or the SecWar.

This article isn't the clearest on what they have done, but if they deliberately leave out of the loop the Civilian leadership of this nation, that is, at the very least, sedition and can run right up to Treason.

But you don't strike me as someone particularly knowledgeable beyond the color sequence of your nails.

No, not if Trump is ordering the military to blow up civilian infrastructure like power plants and bridges. That is a war crime and an illegal order.

Well, then treason was committed. The generals don't want the imbecile mentally ill man-child Trump in the room making horrible command decisions.

If mad king Trump was in the command center during that rescue operation, that poor colonel would probably now be dead.

Thank heavens the brass kept him out of the room.

He is too erratic and ungrounded now, far more than ever.

He is jeopardizing are peoples' welfare and good being.

WOW: A stunning new report in the WSJ reveals that military advisers intentionally excluded Donald Trump from the command room during the recent high-stakes operation to extract a downed U.S. airman in Iran, because they feared his erratic behavior could jeopardize the mission.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump was in such a volatile state after Iran shot down a U.S. jet that he spent hours screaming at aides in the West Wing, obsessing over the political fallout and invoking Jimmy Carter and the 1979 hostage crisis. Officials made the call to limit his access, only briefing him at “meaningful moments” instead of giving him real-time control.
Meanwhile, the operation itself nearly fell apart, with aircraft stuck in desert sand and U.S. forces scrambling to avoid Iranian detection. The airman was eventually rescued, but the chaos didn’t end there.
Just hours later, Trump woke up and fired off his profanity-laced threat online, warning Iran it would be left “living in Hell.”
If you think this is sinister or unusual, you must have never been in the military.

You try to make decisions and solve problems at the lowest level possible

No, not at all. We kept things away from the Brigade Commander when possible. He had enough on the plate as it was.

I served for a bit at DvHqs, and you should have seen the Chief of Staff. It would have driven a crazy man sane. It was awful

They are in the freaking White House command center. I would say that is about as high as it gets.

And they quietly put the mentally ill Trump at the kiddie table to play with his crayons while the grown ups handled the adult stuff.

Smart brass action that.

Correct.

It's bad when the commander is incompetent. But the best senior officer in the world could make things difficult, if you are confident that you know how to proceed (as our military leadership clearly was). If you have the perfect plan, a senior officers can only make it imperfect, he will not make it "more perfect."

But he will feel compelled to try. "Anyone could just say 'You got this, proceed as you have planned.' I, General Jones, have to give the plan its finishing touch to make it bound to succeed."

Then you have to figure out how to incorporate his idea into your plan. Easier to leave him out of the loop.

Not to mention, this is yet another anti-Trumps story with "sources close to the President," or whatever. How many times would an intelligent man fall for that?

Except there is exactly zero evidence that that even happened.

You know the WSJ can get in a lot of trouble for just making shit up, right?

Everyone working in the Trump White House is going to talk to the press anonymously. That's just the way it's going to be because everyone is afraid of his deranged nazi ass.

Oh, my God! That's really your evidence?

:laughing0301:

No, the WSJ does not get "in trouble" for making shit up.

They especially don't get in trouble for printing some shit someone else made up.

I started one not seeing this: MINE WAS PUT IN MILITARY FORUM - WHY IS THIS IN POLITICS?
So I've moved here:

This stuck me as the Military knowing what to do while a Tinpot Boss fumbles around worrying his head over stuff that...

Well you know. Come on, we all know. This was a good thing, and nobody is going to be calling for the heads of the top military brass involved

Why military brass kept Trump sidelined during high-stakes Iranian extraction operation - report

Military aides kept Trump out of the Situation Room during the high-stakes Iran rescue mission of a US airman, fearing his temper would derail the mission.

Military advisers intentionally excluded President Donald Trump from the command room during the recent high-stakes extraction of a downed American airman in Iran, fearing his erratic temper would jeopardize the mission, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing a senior administration official.

The move came during a period of intense agitation for the president. Following the downing of a US jet by Iranian forces, Trump reportedly spent hours screaming at aides in a nearly empty West Wing, haunted by the specter of the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis. “If you look at what happened with Jimmy Carter... it cost them the election,” Trump privately fretted, according to sources familiar with the matter.

To mitigate the risk of impulsive interference, aides opted to provide the commander in chief with updates only at “meaningful moments,” rather than the minute-by-minute tactical feeds being monitored by the National Security Council.

and there's more...

“Aides kept the president out of the room as they got minute-by-minute updates because they believed his impatience wouldn’t be helpful, instead updating him at meaningful moments, a senior administration official said,” the Journal’s report reads.

Amid the chaos, which according to the insiders also involved Trump “sometimes” losing focus and attempting to pivot to topics unrelated to the U.S. war against Iran such as his White House ballroom, the president also actively considered awarding himself the highest military decoration in the United States’ history.

“He has made risky pronouncements without input from his national security team – including his post about plans to destroy the Iranian civilization – saying seeming unstable could help spur the Iranians to negotiate,” the Journal’s report reads.

“At one point he even mused he should award himself the nation’s highest military honor, the Medal of Honor.”

If true they need to be Court Martial education unless he gave them free reign to plan and execute
You truly are a Fool.

Trump believes he won. He will not go back on that.

D'Oh!!! You people-of-the-cult are clueless about your own LEADER

and one can't court martial all of the aides.
