It is difficult to understand why the Muslims have a problem with the religious symbols or houses of worship of others. You read about Hindu shrines being blown up, ancient Buddhist statues destroyed, old ancient churches burned down. These are old things should be preserved, such as the ancient monastery in this article.

Earlier this month, the Islamist-led opposition in Syria broadcast a video clip of a militant threatening the nation’s Christian minority, with a focus on the Cherubim monastery and the large Jesus statue recently erected in the region of Saidnaya in Damascus.
In the video, images of militants firing rockets at the ancient monastery and setting the building on fire appear (confirmed elsewhere). The Christ statue also appears being targeted, though it is unclear if it was damaged.

No, actually since he doesn't have to pretend he's a patriotic Conservative American any longer, he's showing us who he's been all along. Of course, to a vast majority of USMB members, we already knew, but he did manage to fool a handful of people in the past, who have since regretted their associations with him.

Exactly. Before, whenever he said something like his desire to have Sharia in America, it was a slip up on his part.
