You really think Mike Tyson would throw a fight or go in knowing he was going to lose?

I think there was something wrong more than age.

Tyson got $20 million, would Tyson agree to throw the fight for more money than he can dream of making the rest of his life?

I saw Tyson fight harder sparing than in the fight.

I said from the start this was going to be one.sided. I loved hearing from the boxing experts about how Mike would knock him out in a round or two . Tyson was spent 20 years ago when he couldn't knock.guys out. I know, because I saw him losing to nobodies as the fear of his power was.gone. He didn't have the instinct in him anymore. Decades later, natural aging, drinking, smoking weed etc and he is fighting a man in his 20s who has apparently taken the sport seriously? I'm glad one honest man agreed with me, Dana White. These guys milked a generation on the Iron Mike myth was has been gone a long time. He even had to delay the fight due to an injury. I guess if he were paid $20M it was well worth it as long.as he didn't take too much punishment.

Had he won he would have gotten 40 million.
It was obvious that he was struggling. He was having trouble breathing. His leg was bothering him. It happens. People get old.

If the difference between winning and losing is $20M than obviously he couldn't do it. Also, he might receive another fight from someone else, even at his advanced age had he won. That was what I feared most, the fixing of the fight.where Tyson KO him in the second round or something. I suppose fhis only happens in Vegas,.not Texas.

Anyway, Tyson was just gassed out from round 2 on.

At least he didn’t get knocked out and lasted all 8 rounds.

He barely landed any punches.



Anyway, Big Mike lost…

no, I didn't see the fight. Last time I saw Tyson fight he bit Holyfield's ear off and that traumatized me.

While at work I did see the slap. It just stayed on repeat scrolling on MSN.

20 million is good for a 58 year old. His money spends slower. Paul getting 40 million, his money will spend much fast at age 27.

For his age and height, Tyson was in pretty good shape.

Very hard to 'turn on the gas' at 60.

Just try throwing punches in the air for one minute straight and keeping your hands up.. keeping your balance. you'll be gassed.. even though the fight sucked. Tyson took some real shots and for a nearly 60 year old man.. he's still tough as hell. Have to give him that much. He just isnt capable of throwing anything more than a 2 punch flurry.

I haven't seen any recent Tyson fights, but at 58 years of age, its time to hang up the gloves and start a new career before he gets hurt. That is if it hasn't already happened.

heck .. the old guy got in shape and had something to motivate him and its rumored that his payout is 20 million ! not a bad night for a guy that lost a fortune because he was so young surrounded by vultures and didn't have Cus D'Amato any more to guide him ..

very true .. although many of us guys Tysons age like to think we can hold our own like we could 30 yrs ago reality is reality .. and yes Tyson could kick the crap out of the average 25 or 30 yr old,but it ain't gonna happen with a fight against a guy that has some "boxing skills" 30 yrs younger and has been training with actual boxers and trainers ..

I only knew Tyson was going to fight a few days ago in the news, I didn't know that it's just happened. That's how much I was interested in it!! My guess was Tyson would get stopped, but I haven't a clue who the other fighter was.

Haven't really watched or kept up with boxing for over a decade.

In financial terms for a single sporting event , this must easily be the biggest example of the Sheeple letting themselves be scammed , and also a superb example of greed and arrogance from those knowing how little it takes to scam them .
That it turned out to be worse than a non event makes it all the more funny and sad .
