Mike Pence caught up in Trump inauguration fundraising criminal scandal

The Palmer Report is an anti-Trump blog. Go figure that they'd make shit up

Red Meat for leftists.
Identifying Criminals and bringing them to justice has always been Red Meat to the left.

Democrats find criminals and bring them to justice.

Republicans vote criminals into office.

It's the ideology. The two parties see things from different perspectives.

You should probably take this a little more seriously. If it is found that trump pocketed his inaugural funds, the Republican Senate will impeach him.

Interesting timing of Michael Lewis book "The Fifth Risk" because it's all about the Obama administration while ignorant lefties think it's about Trump.

How many pints of MD 20-20 have you chugged today?

Not nearly enough to make you seem reasonable

I guess it's irrelevant that the committee was audited without incident. But hey, great piece of propaganda.

Link please. (yea...like that'll happen)

The only link I could quickly find with any comments form the committee. The msm sites don't bother to include anything but their accusations.
The committee "staged a celebration of our democratic processes and did so in full compliance with all applicable laws and disclosure obligations," it said Friday in a statement to The Associated Press.

"The inauguration's accounting was provided both to the Federal Election Commission and the IRS in compliance with all laws and regulations," it said. "These were funds raised from private individuals and were then spent in accordance with the law and the expectations of the donors."

It added that the names of donors were given to the election commission and have been public for nearly two years. It said the donors were vetted and no improprieties were found.

The 2008 Obama campaign got hit by the FEC for misreporting donations of 1.8 million dollars and all they got was $375,000 dollar fine a lot of money to be sure but not a peep about impeachment. You add this up with the Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal and it still doesn't add up to that amount. As I understand it the IRS and FEC both have the paperwork for the spending and they have not raised any issue with it if that is the case I think I am giving this the proper consideration it deserves and others are taking it far more seriously than they should be.

Oh yes, I know. You seem to have very little factual knowledge of this topic.

So, let's review:

Foreign money was steered into the inaugural fund, which is illegal. And the fund seems to have completely disappeared, with none of the charities that were promised the funds receiving a single dime.

but yeah, nothing to see here... heh heh...

And you have zero evidence that anyone involved in the administration had anything to do with it.

Let's see...your link says the TRUMP Admin claims all is accounted for.

But then we have this

In one email, a top inauguration planner, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, emailed Ivanka Trump and inaugural committee deputy chairman Rick Gates expressing "concern" that the hotel was overcharging them and worry about public reaction "when this is audited." She asked that the price of renting a ballroom and meeting rooms for four days be lowered from $175,000 per day to $85,000 per day.

Doubling rates to bilk the Inaugural Committee like that would be...what's that word?

Oh yea...illegal

Now show every hotel in DC didn't do the exact same thing, all hotels do that kind of stuff when there's a large event in town. Have you ever priced hotels when the super bowl is in town?

Right, because that didn't represent Obama himself comitting a felony. Duh.

*Yet

Who do you suppose handled the funds? Who do you suppose "disappeared" them? I would love a good laugh. Hit me with your best steaming pile of shit hypothesis.

That's what investigations show. We'll see

This is a damning claim against Mike Pence that Pence replaced Chris Christie on the transition team because Christie didn't let Donald Trump steal the inauguration donations while Pence did allow the theft.

It is also very interesting that Melania Trump is being mentioned in news concerning the disappearance of $ 30 million from the inauguration fund.

Trump's respect for the law is exemplified by this quote:

"Trump was apoplectic, actually yelling, You’re stealing my money! You’re stealing my fucking money! What the fuck is this?? Seeing Bannon, Trump turned on him and screamed, Why are you letting him steal my fucking money? Bannon and Christie together set out to explain to Trump federal law. […] To which Trump replied, Fuck the law. I don’t give a fuck about the law. I want my fucking money."

It might end up that Pence is caught up in the scandal and is impeached with Donald Trump.

Now that Donald Trump has a new and escalating criminal scandal just about every day, it can be tricky to parse them all in real time. Recently we all learned that Trump’s inaugural committee fundraising is being criminally investigated, both in terms of where the money came from, and where it went. Now it turns out Mike Pence is caught smack in the middle of the scandal.

Donald Trump originally put Chris Christie in charge of the transition, but then quickly fired him and replaced him with Mike Pence. Various supposed explanations have surfaced for this, but none of them have ever been confirmed. Here’s the thing. According to the Michael Lewis book The Fifth Risk, as unearthed by Daily Kos, it turns out Trump’s decision to fire Christie had something to do with Trump’s desire to pocket the money. Check out this rather profane passage from the book:
Trump was apoplectic, actually yelling, You’re stealing my money! I want my fucking money. Bannon and Christie tried to explain that Trump couldn’t have both his money and a transition.

Follow the logic here. Donald Trump fired Chris Christie as the head of the transition team, because Christie wouldn’t let him simply steal the money. Trump then decided to put Mike Pence in his place, and then allegedly proceeded to steal the money. Did Trump think Pence was too stupid to realize the money was being stolen? Or did Trump put Pence in charge because he knew Pence would help him steal the money? Pence looks dirtier by the minute.
Total bullshit.

Could you imagine Madame president Pelosi? Republicans would explode.
