Mike Lindell's Cybersecurity Expert: MyPillowGuy's Data is "Illegitimate"

The Country is falling apart, the crime rate is up, about fifty people a week are shot in Chicago, foreign policy is a mess, Afghanistan is about to erupt, energy prices are soaring and the vaccine doesn't seem to work but lefties would rather talk about the "Pillow Guy".
Threads on those topics are over there. ------>

And he's taken the $5 million off the table!

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The cyber expert on the “red team” hired by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell now says the key data underpinning the theory that China hacked the 2020 election unveiled at the Cyber Symposium is illegitimate.
Mr. Lindell said he had 37 terabytes of “irrefutable” evidence that hackers, who he said were backed by China, broke into election systems and switched votes in favor of President Biden. The proof, he said, is visible in intercepted network data or “packet captures” that were collected by hackers and could be unencrypted to reveal that a cyberattack occurred and that votes were switched.
But cyber expert Josh Merritt, who is on the team hired by Mr. Lindell to interrogate the data for the symposium, told The Washington Times that packet captures are unrecoverable in the data and that the data, as provided, cannot prove a cyber incursion by China.
“So our team said, we’re not going to say that this is legitimate if we don’t have confidence in the information,” Mr. Merritt said on Wednesday, the second day of the symposium.
Mr. Merritt’s break from Mr. Lindell accelerated the unraveling of the MyPillow millionaire’s months of spinning of a conspiracy theory that he said would reverse the outcome of the 2020 election and restore former President Donald Trump to the White House.
Mr. Lindell delayed a scheduled unveiling of his evidence on Wednesday at the symposium.
He had offered $5 million to any in-person attendee who can disprove his claims. The offer is no longer on the table, Mr. Merritt said.
Leading up to the seminar, Mr. Lindell had displayed a video of scrolling, incomprehensible text, which he claimed were the packet captures he had received — proof, he claimed, of his China hacking theory. The video was featured in his documentary “Absolute 9-0” and was played on loop on screens throughout the convention center during the symposium.
Cybersecurity expert J. Kirk Wiebe, a former senior National Security Agency analyst and whistleblower, also said Mr. Lindell did not have the actual data sets.
He said the scrolling text was likely meant to resemble what the packet captures would look like in the data set but were not actual packet captures, which are vital to prove the claims.

Yeah, well "D'uh!"

It's all about the grift and yer feelings!

The cyber symposium produced several newsworthy stories that should have resonated with the public. First, they received forensic images of the same Dominion machine from Mesa Co. Colorado before and after the election showing that Dominion employees destroyed election records to audit network connectivity and vote total modifications. This has energized the state officials at the conference to demand forensic audits in their own state. Second, they demonstrated how unsecure the Dominion election system is by easily hacking it in a mock election. They connected to its SQL Server database and modified election totals. They saw from the forensic images that this software was intentionally modified to undermine its security features. Event logs on the Dominion machines would confirm this pathway if they can be viewed before Dominion deletes them in their "update". Third, they showed that even people with CISSP credentials that were granted access to their PCAP data were willing to inject a "poison pill" into the data so that any public use of it would trigger security confiscation of the hardware. Whether this was classified IP addresses or passwords to services like the Emergency Broadcast Notification System the effect was it shutdown any PCAP sharing for detailed analysis. By not providing a debrief of the Red Team findings on the PCAP data we are left with more questions than answers. Josh Merritt said the data was "not recoverable" and they couldn't use it to prove anything. Phil Waldren disputes this and called Merrit's statement a lie. Did Merrit get threatened? How far were they able to get? Did it load into a packet sniffer? Was it encrypted or unencrypted? The low information public debate and hit news pieces are disinformation just meant to discredit Lindell. This is not over until every state does a forensic audit on their Dominion machines and the paper ballot adjudication scam. Until that day the rest is just noise. History will decide if Mike Lindell was a sucker or, more likely, simply "the meteor" of a much larger conflict ala John Brown and the Civil War.

Even Steve Bannon said Mike Lindell is full of shit!

but doesnt Mike Pillow have 37 terabytes of irrefutable evidence?

why doesnt fox news let Mike Pillow advertise on fox news anymore?

I wonder if Trump supporters just buy Goya beans and my pillows.

Proof, right-wingers are just plain false witness bearers and practitioners of the abomination of hypocrisy (unto God, with a McCarthy era phrase in our pledge.) Right-wingers have no morals only right-wing fantasy.

Are people so stupid as to believe this contrived excuse for why the evidence they promised to provide is no where to be seen?

This is supposed to be the day when Lindell takes his evidence to the Supreme Court, and they all vote 9-0 to reinstate Trump. Biden and Harris both see the light and joyfully resign, and the whole nation unites around DearLeader.

Several facts put a damper on that.

First, Lindell has no evidence. He's just got crap that a known scammer scammed him into paying for.

Second, that's not how the courts work. You don't walk up the steps to the SC, where the 9 justices are patiently waiting for you in a semicircle, and then hand them your evidence as the heavenly choir sings.

And third, the SC doesn't have that power.

In this case, the data is supposedly 37 terabytes of data. That's a few billion printed pages. The courts would ask that you summarize a bit. That's after they ask you to document the chain of custody, to show that the evidence is genuine and unaltered. "This hacker gave it to me" would not be regarded as sufficient documentation, so the 37 TB of data would not be allowed as evidence.

And there's that nasty bit of reality which points out that you can't remotely hack machines which aren't connected to the internet.

Now Lindell has told CNN he's not going to reveal all at the the crackhead convention like he promised.

what's even funnier is you guys trying to give the pillow guy Lindell, Avenatti, and cuomo statist

No proof either way. . . and that is how the establishment wants it.

lol ... donny started setting up the narrative a year ago when he said if he lost - that means it was rigged.

he just dusted off the 2016 playbook when he said the same thing about hillary. the only difference being that the first time he did win. if he didn't, do you think president tribblehead woulda CONceded?

there was audit after audit after audit. courts threw out frivolous lawsuits brought on by q anon nutters & rotten rudy due to no evidence. the SC weighed in with a one word reply:

DENIED.

what y'all don't understand - either thru willful ignorance or brain cell die off due to the methane filled bubble most of you reside in -

donny is desperate AF to stay in office. why? why you ask?

because he had the protection of the oval office shielding him from any illegality he might have engaged in before, during & now after his reign. PLUS all them thar 'loans' he took out will be coming due in a relatively short time. why do you think he has tried so hard to keep that info under wraps & refused to show his taxes? no way could it have only been cause he 'was under audit'. NIXON was under audit & he showed his taxes. perhaps the conman ISN'T as wealthy as he said?
why does a self proclaimed 'billionaire' need to take out so many loans?
maybe the emperor has no clothes.

donny the 'king of debt 'cause he loves it' not only has lotsa loans coming due - but he has mounting legal bills that he will be paying for thru his PAC.

seems you fell for a grift.

again....
