Always Faithful
Haven't read the thread, but State Fairs are generally very important for children and their families Amendment 2 is not to be retracted, but children shouldn't be exposed to guns that kill people .

You didn't answer it, you just spouted a fallacy./——/ I answered your question, you just don’t like the answer.
When you enjoy watching a baby ripped out of the mother’s womb and ripped to pieces, do you get wood?
LmfaoI keep forgetting how much of a moron you are. I guess I need to explain like I'm dealing with a mentally-retarded child.
The United States was fighting TWO wars, and did almost all the actual fighting against Japan in the Pacific, you lackwit! Aside from the Australians on New Guinea, almost all the Pacific fighting was done by the US. As I recall, there was not one single British soldier landing on Iwo Jima.
Part timers who needed their hands held. The US was also bearing the burden of fighting the suicidal Japanese in the Pacific. Few BRITISH troops were fighting the Japanese, it was mostly Commonwealth troops which you don't factor in. And even the Commonwealth troops weren't suffering the necessarily frontal assaults against entrenched Japanese troops necessitated by island invasions. You also failed to mention the 241,616 Commonwealth and Free Forces troops killed under BRITISH command in WWII. I'm making the conservative estimate that only ten percent of the French and Polish deaths came under BRITISH command, that number climbs to 241,616. I believe that runs the British number up to 624,616 or 104,102 per year using your six-year figure. When you look at total fatalities, the USA looks pretty good even not considering the difference between fighting the Germans and the Japanese. The BRITISH were also very risk averse after the WWI casualties not being willing to take necessary BRITISH casualties feeding in non-white troops and ANZACS into the meatgrinder instead of white British troops. The losses per year and total losses under British command exceeded the losses per year and total losses under American command. You remind me of a poster on the Navweaps forums. His attitude is American always bad, British always good. You really do need to grow up.
But you lock up the greatest percentage of your population than any other nation, yet you claim you're swamped with criminals, so you need to be armed to the teeth/——/ Do you understand the word deterrent?

We’re swamped with criminals because lib DAs and judges turn them loose. But you lock up the greatest percentage of your population than any other nation, yet you claim you're swamped with criminals, so you need to be armed to the teeth
Just admit it, Americans simply can't handle guns.
The mentality of the Swiss is to shoot invaders from outside their country. Why do the Swiss have so many guns?
Despite its taste for neutrality, Switzerland is one of the most heavily-armed countries in the world. Gun owners belong to one of two categories: army recruits and shooting enthusiasts. ENTR went to Switzerland to dive deep into the country’s little-known gun culture.

Simple, Switzerland doesn't have the right to bear arms, it has a universal militia where every adult male citizen keeps his issued weapon at home but with no ammo. Foreigners are not allowed to own firearms at all and even legal residents face serious restrictions here is an excerpt on the subject from an article: "In dumb America, yes. The 2nd arms the retards, and there's many of those in the US. America is the retard capital of the world with guns.
How can Switzerland cope with RtoBA, but the US struggles?
You contradicted yourself. The numbers in jail, they're not loose because the number is high. You probably heard of one or two dudes in the news who were let out, reoffended by shooting someone, and you equate that to millions let out and with guns on every street corner./—-/ You’re just arguing for the sake of arguing. Are foreigners allowed to buy a gun in Switzerland?
Foreigners who are permanent residents of Switzerland can buy guns in the country after obtaining a permit, but non-residents are not allowed to purchase firearms.
The permit process is rigorous and involves a background check and verification of the individual’s eligibility to own firearms.
However, it’s worth noting that purchasing firearms as a foreigner may be challenging due to the strict requirements and regulations."
Here is an excerpt about citizens from the same article:
"Many Swiss citizens are members of shooting clubs and frequently visit gun ranges to practice their shooting skills, both for sports and self-defense purposes. Plus, they have to be a member of a gun club to get the license to own a gun in the first place.
However, gun ranges in Switzerland are subject to strict regulations and are frequently monitored to ensure compliance with the country’s gun laws."
Here is an excerpt from a BBC article on the subject showing the restrictions:
"All healthy Swiss men aged between 18 and 34 are obliged to do military service and all are issued with assault rifles or pistols which they are supposed to keep at home.
Twenty years ago the Swiss militia was a sizeable force of around 600,000 soldiers. Today it is only a third of that size but until recently most former soldiers used to keep their guns after they had completed their military duties, leading to lots of weapons being stored in the attics or cupboards of private Swiss households.
In 2006, the champion Swiss skier Corrinne Rey-Bellet and her brother were murdered by Corinne's estranged husband, who shot them with his old militia rifle before killing himself.
Since that incident, gun laws concerning army weapons have tightened. Although it is still possible for a former soldier to buy his firearm after he finishes military service, he must provide a justification for keeping the weapon and apply for a permit.
When I meet Mathias, a PhD student and serving officer, at his apartment in a snowy suburb of Zurich, I realise the rules have got stricter than I imagined. Mathias keeps his army pistol in the guest room of his home, in a desk drawer hidden under the printer paper. It is a condition of the interview that I don't give his surname or hint at his address.
"I do as the army advises and I keep the barrel separately from my pistol," he explains seriously. "I keep the barrel in the basement so if anyone breaks into my apartment and finds the gun, it's useless to them."
He shakes out the gun holster. "And we don't get bullets any more," he adds. "The Army doesn't give ammunition now - it's all kept in a central arsenal." This measure was introduced by Switzerland's Federal Council in 2007.
Mathias carefully puts away his pistol and shakes his head firmly when I ask him if he feels safer having a gun at home, explaining that even if he had ammunition, he would not be allowed to use it against an intruder.
"The gun is not given to me to protect me or my family," he says. "I have been given this gun by my country to serve my country - and for me it is an honour to take care of it. I think it is a good thing for the state to give this responsibility to people.""

Once in a while, they kill them./——/ Red states lock ‘em up.
You couldn't possibly be any more stupid. The Free French and Poles were at least as professional as the British Army and the Anzacs and Canadians often succeeded where British troops failed and certainly were capable of taking a higher casualty rate and staying effective.Part timers who needed their hands held.
Lol, I like your psychology attempt that you expect your opinion is fact and others should be on the back foot. Grow up kid.Translation: "Having no way to refute the obvious facts, I will scream, yell, stomp my feet, and throw grade-school insults."
The whole of Europe is a gun free zone, you only shoot on your own land or at gun ranges etc.. Also, per capita, there are less in jail. Equally by American gun nut logic, less guns in public and less locked up must mean high gun deaths and crime. But Europe's gun stats are a tiny fraction of America's./——/ Red states lock ‘em up. Blue states turn ‘em lose.

You guys rely on many fallacies, criminals let out, need defence guns, criminals everywhere bla bla bla. As you can see, the American gun nut arguement is complete shite.
The Swiss are very intelligent as well as caring men and women. A lot of yanks are too.The mentality of the Swiss is to shoot invaders from outside their country.
The mentality of yanks is to shoot those that do not yield, took the wrong turn and into their driveway by mistake, and to shoot their class mates. Even toddlers start young and shoot babies.
