Midnight Maintenance?

Every night (morning) at 12:53 am (PST) on the button, the board won't load. I can get back on at 1:25 am. Is this scheduled maintenance?

It's not just you. It happens at 3:53 AM (EST) also. It has to be maintenance. So the outage will occur in 23 minutes from the time of this post.

Just one of those little mysteries of USMB. Are there ghosts running around in the servers? Is this forum haunted?

Automatic server maintenance. Being in calif...it starts at almost 1am, hence 3am-ish where they are. Sometimes it gets frustrating since I am a night owl, but thank goodness the net is vast and I can entertain myself until the maintenance is over. But by then, most everyone is in bed anyway.

Some platforms like this one have a store mode for saving YOUR work. Should say a server bot attack disable the server then once fixed and clean could re-load all work up to the 24 hour time frame it was attacked.

It's been attacked before. I should know. I was here when it happened. Cost me 400 bucks for a new tower.
