What a crazy game. OSU was favoured by 20 points. I knew going in it would have to be low scoring and Michigan needed some turnovers and good luck to be in it, and we got it:

  • 2 missed FG’s
  • 2 Interceptions from Will Howard
  • horrible play calling from Ryan Day

It all added up to an ugly, old-school 13-10 masterpiece. What an upset

Most of the talking heads say OSU will still make the playoffs

But this hurts their chances for a national championship

I'm from Montana, and besides the Griz, I always supported Michigan against Ohio State. I also loved Notre Dame. They're playing USC right now.

Georgia looked beatable after an 8 overtime win over Georgia Tech

Oregon appears to have the least weaknesses
I'll never understand the coaching mentality of going soft coverage after your defense has dominated for 3 quarters. Georgia did nothing all game and then scored 14 points in 3 minutes.

They did the same with Tennessee.

Georgia embarrassed Texas.

I haven't seen SMU or Oregon play yet......so who knows what's going to happen.

Do they fire Day now?

There are many good teams in the SEC

I wouldnt call the Texas loss to Georgia as an embarrassment

Georgia is good, but Texas still has a better won-loss record in the SEC

Apparently a mini brawl broke out because Michigan tried to plant their flag in the middle of the Ohio field.

They didn't try......they did it.

Then somebody grabbed their flag and started running away with it.....which caused Ohio State to play harder than they did in the game.

they'll make the playoffs, they will still be a favorite to win it all. But this is about a rivalry.

I saw that. I don't mind either side's intentions.

I'm fine with a team taking pride in their field/logo, and I'm okay with a team sticking it to their rival when they go into their house and beat them.

Routinely outcoached in big games. He has a losing record in big games.

You saw Day mismanage the game at the end, as Day tried to call time outs back to back, which is not even legal to do, and his players lining up wrong to boot. All pointing to bad coaching.

Then you have the QB who routinely turns the ball over, especially in big games. You can't fix that. You just need another QB is all.

And the field goal kicker? He is not really a kicker.

Granted, the team was decimated on the O line because of injury, but still. The entire franchise I think is in free fall. I reckon Oregon will probably take over now as leader of the Big 10.

Michigan acted like a bunch of assholes, but then, we expect nothing less of them.

And to think, they did not even need to cheat this time.

Yay.

Ryan Day should be packing up his office right now.

I dont think they can win it all. Not with Day at the helm. He might be a great OC but he's dog shit as a HC.
