Trump wins again. He has Mexico cooperating with his war on the cartels.

More good news for America, bad news for Democrats.

Mexico is handing over 26 top cartel leaders to the United States this week in a deal with the Trump administration.

The cartel figures were scheduled to fly to the U.S. on Tuesday.

"Today is the latest example of the Trump administration's historic efforts to dismantle cartels and foreign terrorist organizations," Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News Digital. "These 26 men have all played a role in bringing violence and drugs to American shores -- under this Department of Justice, they will face severe consequences for their crimes against this country. We are grateful to President Sheinbaum and the Mexican government for their collaboration in this matter."

Recent reports indicate that Mexico, under pressure from the Trump administration, has been expelling alleged high-ranking cartel members to the United States.
Specifically:
  • In August 2025, Mexico transferred 26 alleged cartel operatives to the U.S. in a deal coordinated with the Trump administration.
  • This followed a similar transfer of 29 cartel leaders in February 2025.
  • The transfers were carried out after the U.S. Justice Department assured Mexico that the individuals would not face the death penalty.
  • The Trump administration has been pressuring Mexico to do more to combat drug cartels, particularly those smuggling fentanyl across the border.
  • These extraditions are seen as a way for Mexico to appease the Trump administration and potentially avoid the imposition of tariffs or military action against cartels on Mexican soil.
It is important to note that
  • These actions are aimed at combating drug trafficking and organized crime, not facilitating the settlement of cartel members in the US.
  • The Trump administration has taken a strong stance against cartels, designating several as foreign terrorist organizations and even authorizing the use of military force against them in some instances.
  • While Mexico has shown a willingness to cooperate, there have been debates within the Mexican government regarding the legal and political implications of these transfers.

If I know Sheinbaum, she sent them here because they would most likely continue their operations from inside the prison. These are probably the worst of the worst. That's my guess.

Trump wins again.
Really? More of it? I'm starting to get sick of it. I'm getting so tired of winning, winning, winning, I've thought of writing Trump to ask him to please hold it down for a while. :smoke:

I wonder: if Mexico can hand these 26 over, why can't they just put them in jail there and stop their drug enterprise? Apparently the Mexican government has a bit of a love/hate relationship with the cartels.

Trump threatens military action against cartels, within days the Mexican government coughs up 26 cartel members. Maybe the Mexican government will finally divest itself from the drug trade.

Doubtful mexico would quit dealing drugs. If mexico was smart they would of learned english after the spanish left to fight napolean

26 cartel members, HA! mexico needs to turn over 2600 corrupt government officials. You know, so the corrupt democrats cant say we are politically profiling corrupt democrats

If mexico has cartel leaders in custody why do we need them. We need the leaders not in custody?????

I agree. I dont want to pay for them. Lock them up down there. Can't trust Mexico on anything. don't try, dont bother. Something is up with this deal. Its a trick. These are street bums perhaps?

Great point, the mexican president aint got the balls to arrest or turn over anybody of significance.

I bet these are most likely cartel members that fell out of favor with the cartels resulting in them being given to the crooked police.

I seen this on TV and movies. Like scarface when that crooked cop Mel offered to arrest Tony's competitors. Helps the cartels, helps the cops, helps mexico image but more importantly it helps the cartels retain and gain power.

The cartels threw those guys to the wolves. Fall guys. Nothing in the cartel businesses will miss a beat.

Just execute them and get it over with.

If mexico has cartel leaders in custody why do we need them. They are already in jail. We need the cartel leaders not arrested, not in custody
Because Mexican prisons are a joke. The cartels run them too. They won’t be able to run shit from a federal super max.
