Mexican Navy Ship Just Crashed Into The Brooklyn Bridge!!

Pictures of why so many injured. Now days the sailors wear safety harness when up on the mast. Once you are hooked up it is hard to escape in a quick amount of time.

Do you not see them wearing harnesses?
Lost powers is bullshit. You can see the disturbance wake from the prop. They were drunk out of their fucking minds, all up in the sails and cheering and blasting La Musica . My sources tell me pictures iof them passing bottles back and forth from the masts are bring censored
That is from the ship's movement.

I just read this about the navy ship :dunno:

"The ARM Cuauhtémoc, a Mexican Navy Sail Training Vessel, has indeed been recognized as a global benchmark for women’s empowerment. It currently has 20 women on its crew and 46 cadets, with the first female navigators having embarked in 2011. To this day, it has the largest number of female naval officers from different services. The Mexican Navy also actively supports a campaign on gender equality and inclusion through its Human Rights Promotion and Protection Unit."

"Empowering women economically is crucial for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and can significantly impact a country's future. Women's economic empowerment contributes directly to gender equality, poverty eradication, and economic growth''
LOL wow.

Is there a source for this? This is hilarious.

Hey jackoff… thy didn’t plan to go under that bridge.

The current dragged them there.

"The tides at Brooklyn Bridge yesterday, May 17th, 2025, were as follows: a low tide occurred at 7:04 PM, with a height of 1.2 feet. A high tide occurred earlier in the day at 1:42 PM, reaching a height of 3.6 feet. The tide at 8:20 PM yesterday would have been receding towards the next low tide"

That means the tides were running to the South in the opposite direction of the ships travel

The ship was not drifting, it was being propelled

Tides and current are not the same thing.

Know where the East River runs? Between the ocean and Hell’s Gate. Know what’s on the other side of Hell’s Gate?

Long Island Sound. When the current is flowing into the Sound it goes VERY fast. A sailboat with a hull speed of 8 knots can sometimes go through it at 10-12 knots. Purely on current. It’s a fucking sleigh ride

When the Sound is emptying into the East River a sailboat can simply not GET into the Sound.

That… is what that ship was dealing with. Hell’s Gate is less than a mile from the Brooklyn Bridge

Seems that it was never on that side...

"It was unclear what caused the ship to veer off course. New York Police Department Special Operations Chief Wilson Aramboles said the ship had just left a Manhattan pier and was supposed to have been headed out to sea, not toward the bridge."

Here is its path (White is water)....
