Umbrella or not, it's still a dead dog.Kevlar umbrellas . . . it's the only way to be sure . . .
What would be the reason for the claim????If the guy files an insurance claim ... does the insurance company get to keep the meteorite? ... [raises eyebrows] ... that rock is worth big bucks on the retail market ...

If he finds the meteorite, it could be worth some big bucks.
Si amor ! Vamanos ! Corriende !
That depends on if it's a rocky one or metallic. If the guy files an insurance claim ... does the insurance company get to keep the meteorite? ... [raises eyebrows] ... that rock is worth big bucks on the retail market ...
A word of caution ... something other than the meteor's direct action started the fire ... it hit a gas line or shorted out some wiring ... meteors are nominally at -225 to -250ºC ... a few seconds passing through our atmosphere won't changed that much ... this thing is deep space cold ...
What would be the reason for the claim????
God took a hot, flaming dump on my house???
