My wife teaches at a Christian school, and they decided to give everyone off Monday, so they could watch the inauguration.

I don't think you have a point here.
Your thread's premise was that the 'libs' are powerless in their whining...That the reality is that Trump will soon take office.
This is true.
My point is that the whining of losers is, in fact, a non-partisan phenomena...and that both sides remain powerless to change the outcome.
Just because the MAGA crowd got behind a questionable, at best, narrative does not mean that they were more justified or more effective with their loser's whine.
The fact that millions believe does not actually speak to the veracity of their belief...just to the attractiveness of being able to blame some external for the failure of their champion to gain office.

Possibly the same type that tried to murder Trump. Why did the one the Secret Service shot have offshore bank accounts?
And don't forget Reagan, either. Trump released some internal stuff when he was last president.

My condolences to you, friend.
I thought I was going to miss the inauguration. Hubby and I were up at 8:00 AM to watch last time, and that's exactly the time of Mass, and I love the Holy Eucharist more than I love politics.
Then I remembered that I've moved two time zones since the first time President Trump was last sworn in, so I will be able to watch after all!

Trump seems obsessed with people he has watched on Fox News, celebrities, WWE executives, Billionairesā¦..
