I kinda like Garland's low-key behind-the-scenes approach to the big investigations that his department is and has been involved in. He's no grandstander. Which is refreshing. And too, there have been no scandals with his investigations that I know of. He seems to be methodical and competent. Sort of a 'Just-the-facts-Ma'am' Sergeant Friday.

Oh to be sure, the Trump Squeaky Frommes will hyper-ventilate over an indictment here, and indictment there, a conviction here, and a conviction there. But its a cult. We simply have to expect and accept to a degree their Jonestown vibe.

I think America....be it a democracy or a republic or just a huge country with a diverse population ..... is being well served by AG Garland.
