Men charged over meth imports worth $285m
A NSW man who allegedly imported more than $150 million of methamphetamine in what was supposed to be a whitegoods shipment has been charged.
Victoria Police made the bust in April 2019, when they searched cargo supposedly destined for a Melbourne appliance company.
Officers did not find a single appliance, instead uncovering plastic-wrapped cardboard boxes filled with 200kg of methamphetamine, estimated to be worth $150 million.
