Zone1 Medical industry not producing or rendering services when needed ?

The UC is about as bad ain't it ? Otherwise when it comes to coming in contact with sickness of all types.
I don’t think you understand the difference between the two settings

Plus hospitals contain all those rooms outside the ER, full of people who’ve been admitted inpatient.

By definition, a building housing people sick enough to be inpatient is going to have more germs than an ambulatory clinic

I’m sure they only said go to the ER if you’re showing signs that the infection went systemic

Otherwise, pretty sure they urged you to go to an urgent care. Like pretty much everyone on this thread has been telling you….
What's the difference, I mean I'm loaded down with medical insurance, so it's not like the bill won't get paid. In fact I have an HSA also. I think you may have thought that I'm a free loader or something ?

No, they said either or... They took it as possibly being an emergency, and it might be.

Only speak for my area, New rules. Gone are the longer informative dr visits.
Fifteen mins then on to the next person.

Yeah, I remember way back in the day when just calling a urologist, making an appointment to be seen that day, and went in that same day. No problem at all.

I have what might be an issue with a UTI due to having the flu recently.

Symtoms- Can't urinate after the battle with the flu. It just trickles out instead of a stream. I figured well I could be severely dehydrated maybe, so I started drinking a lot of Gatorade. Symtoms didn't improve.

So I called my local urologist and they asked was I a regular patient ? I answered no.

She then said that I had to be reffered to them before I could be seen.

I just hung up the phone and thought, oh well I'll just lay here and die then.

I know, I could just go to the emergency room, but that's how I got the flu to begin with. I'm trying to stay out of those places.

Why has the medical physicians adopted this policy that if your not being reffered to them, then they don't have to see you or treat you ?

Are doctor's screening patient's in some sort of way that is going against their sacred oaths taken ?

Just venting I guess..
My other half experienced the same health problem recently and we discovered a rural health care clinic in our area that takes walk ins. The costs are reasonable and we were in and out in less than an hour with an in-house pharmacy providing Rxs. Very happy we discovered this asset.

I'm gonna try a home remedy first, wish me luck... Water mixed with vinegar..

It's maddening.

I was fortunate enough to work in the medical field when you got to choose your own doctor and go see them by your own choice.

What's going on in "medicine" now is why I quit before I wasted too much time and money in pre-med.

Seems everything has went into the wrong directions.

There are some OTC remedies. AZO makes a couple that have been somewhat effective in the past. Cranberry juice has helped before as well.
Got the cranberry juice now. Just took a home test, and it noted a find of a UTI.

Cranberry juice isn’t going to treat a UTI

For one thing, the sugar content outweighs any benefit from the acidity

Are you a man? Have you considered this could all be prostate related?

The pharmacy recommended it as an across the counter assist.
Ok I guess you think you know best

If you actually think you have a UTI, you should have your doctor’s office or an urgent care test the urine and prescribe an antibiotic. That’s how actual UTI’s are treated

Yes, that is also a possibility. Let's hope not..
9 times out of 10 it’s just BPH- not cancer

All men who live long enough will eventually have enlarged prostates. It’s a natural side effect of testosterone production that accumulates over the years

Ran into another thing going on these day's, and it most definitely needs to be investigated. I was looking around on line for the possibilities when it comes to provider's and the types of insurances they take and honor.

I saw two names on one site that surprised me, otherwise that the site said that it won't be taking anymore. The reasons were stated that the two companies were dealing in unfair recoupment payments. A while back I remember United Heathcare had a huge falling out in the country over simular thing's I guess. In fact the CEO was gunned down for what was possibly an assassination caused by corporate maleficence or patient doctor wedging. The site listed the names blatantly and the reason for no longer dealing with them.

So what about the millions that have insurance with these companies, otherwise what happens to them ?

It's high time that the two parties stop with the dammed epstien bull chit back and forth, and get to work finding out what's happening inside of these major corporations now.

The constitution requires the federal government to stand up for the health and well being of the citizen's, and it looks like it's becoming a more and more myth instead of an actual requirement.
