This is a commerce-conscious anarchy inquiry relevant to TrumpUSA and inspired by Wag the Dog and Bulworth.

"Americans were conscious that the modern world was in the grip of fear and panic because of terrorism. ISIS and Al Qaeda and other groups had delivered home the message that no target was 'sacred' in this world of commerce-driven customs (i.e., NATO). Sports and media-marketing in America became much more claustrophobic, as people simply tried to focus on the fact that marketing was lifestyle. It was as if the entire world became Belfast (Northern Ireland), a cauldron where political unrest was normalized and considered 'sane'. The burden of intellectual sanity fell on the shoulders of new age journalists (i.e., CNN)."

"American movie-stars such as Tom Cruise and Leo DiCaprio were effectively the new age 'diplomats' of this turbulent landscape of drama-centric human etiquette, since they made movies about daydreams/fantasies about a better world wrought from creative thinking and stylish travel. Americans could now more easily than ever rent/download movies on YouTube and Netflix, so media had become a sort of giant 'imaginarium supermarket.' People wondered what would be considered 'sacred' in this new environment of satisfaction-based IQ (e.g., Facebook)."

"Because consumerism was such a convenience-based system and was now completely 'global' (e.g., NASDAQ, European Union, Wall Street, World Bank, eTrade, eBay, Toyota etc., etc.), smalltown values shifted from one of meritocracy-based patronage (e.g., Little House on the Prairie) to one more of ambition-based storytelling (e.g., Richie Rich). As the seemingly-indomitable New England Patriots (NFL) won a whopping 5 Super Bowl titles in the new millennium, media-marketing experts wondered if successful individuals (e.g., celebrities) had become the new 'priests.' The bottom-line was that capitalism was suddenly 'chic'."

"When celebrity-president Donald Trump was elected as U.S. President, everyone wondered if this finance-wizard would take the new world towards commerce-focused teamwork-based geopolitical networking (e.g., World Bank) or towards capitalism-biased Big Brother centric wealth-based domination (e.g., Wall Street). Industrialization-related eco-pollution in numerous places/cities create strange climate-shifts across the globe, prompting the EPA and environmental activists to wonder if Earth was being 'consumed' by consumerism(!). Vigilantism-daydream themed comic books became popular and were adapted into countless Hollywood (USA) films. Comic book sales went through the roof, as American youngsters fantasized suddenly about 'anti-corporate art'."

GOD: I believe capitalism has opened up a Hellmouth.
SATAN: Look at the legacy of the Gulf War!
GOD: People are cynical about political intentions.
SATAN: Is that because of 9/11?
GOD: Citizens simply don't trust governance.
SATAN: They'd rather go shopping...
GOD: It's difficult to 'police' commerce.
SATAN: Yes, mercantilism is still considered an 'art.'
GOD: Maybe capitalism-analysis will prompt political creativity.
SATAN: Such as the European Union?
GOD: Precisely! The Trump Administration should work with the EU.
SATAN: They worked with North Korea and South Korea very closely.
GOD: Yes, and the Winter Games in PyeongChang went smoothly...
SATAN: Why do Americans love horror-films?
GOD: Fear and shock-value art speak to an American fascination with pure liberty.
SATAN: In that case, I worry about homegrown terrorism...
GOD: American storytellers need to focus on values-based comedy (e.g., Saturday Night Live).
SATAN: Maybe MTV is the new Disney...
