It was their deliberate exacerbation of high prices/inflation while telling us it was getting better while it was getting worse and not giving a damn or even noticing the very real stress and pain it was causing the people.

It was them overrunning the country with 10s of millions of migrants, many who were lawless and dangerous, and not giving a damn that this too was highly inflationary and not giving a damn about the very real stress and pain it was causing the people.

It was them funneling trillions to people presumably to fight climate change, do gender studies, or otherwise wasted money for which they could not show a single thing that helped anybody or improve any lives others than their cronies who got the money.

It was them pushing a 'woke' agenda that was stripping parents of parental rights and forcing them to allow their children to transgender, that was forcing inappropriate sexually explicit material into the schools, that was requiring schools to teach little children that they were either victims or racist, that had no problem with vulgar sexually suggestive entertainment for kids and parade exhibits so long as it was LGBTQX+ pushing it.

It was policies that took us from a world essentially at peace again to a world at war draining precious resources from the people, thousands of bodies piling up, putting us at the brink of WWIII and not seeing a thing wrong with that.

And of course demanding no restrictions of any kind on abortion while a substantial majority of Americans believe some reasonable regulation is warranted.

With such an agenda, I think most thinking people are horrified that Democrats got any votes at all.

Trump flubbed the pandemic. But, the left hyped up the vaccinations as our savior, which were actually put in motion by Trump. The left complained about all the needless deaths under Trump and yet, when Biden and the dems had more up to date pandemic information than Trump, they had more deaths under Biden than under Trump.

Trump put the economy in recession by locking down the country, even though it was democrats who locked down the country. And, that locking down added to several dem policies, caused "transitory" inflation which wasn't transitory.

Trump refused to take responsibility for anything, followed by four years of everyone on the left up to Biden refusing to take responsibility for anything.

Biden ran on uniting the country and immediately afterwards used lawfare against Trump and his supporters, taking political hostages and trying to keep Trump off ballots and even calling Trump supporters garbage. The country is more un-united than ever.

The left claimed that Trump tried to take democracy away and yet they spent four years trying to take democracy away, so much so that in 2024 all of the voters saying that their number one reason for voting was to save democracy, 58% of those people voted for Trump.
