I've noticed that ever since Biden and the Democrats gained control, restaurant (and other prices) have skyrocketed. I've been going to both fast food and regular restaurants less because they are just too high priced anymore to go on a regular basis. My wife and I just went to a fast food place yesterday and ordered off the kids menu. Still cost over $10 for the two of us. If we had ordered off the regular menu it would have been over $20 for two people for fast food. And those people making $15 and $22 dollars per hour? They can't afford to even buy groceries anymore or pay their rents. Lot of good increased wages did for them. They're further behind than they were before.

Business owners won't make much of anything while regulations will force them to pay living wages with benefits. That will be for those employed. Those unemployed will be taken care of by the government, receiving the same wages and benefits of those who are employed. It will be a total liberal socialist Utopia.

You people think that lower paying jobs is something we invented about ten years ago. I'm 62 now and there were low paying jobs all of my life. I know because I worked several of them. You can't support yourself on minimum wage today and you couldn't in the 80's either. Nothing has changed.

It was never supposed to be a livable wage, a lifetime career or enough to support a family. I'm not familiar with Five Guys. About a year ago a friend of mine stopped over and I believe what he brought for dinner was from them, but I can't be sure.

In any case thanks to the labor shortage, there are huge price differences in the quality of beef and pork. A few months ago I wanted to make sloppy joe's. I bought the cheap stuff. I could barely chew the shit. But it was a couple of bucks cheaper than the good stuff. Never again.

A blind person can taste the quality difference between McDonald's and Wendy's. It's simply better quality of beef.
