McConnell claims GOP will sacrifice White House, drop Trump ‘like a hot rock’ if he’s nominee

Well, I will go with polls that overwhelming majorities of minorities and a solid majority of women will not vote for him.

We are all watching a crazed phenomenon affecting the GOP with no evidenced spill over into the center of the Dems.

Tis what it is.
Polls can change

There was a time polls said Hillary should win the Whitehouse--then Obama beat her

There was a time that polls said she would sweep the 2016 nomination-- now she hopes Sanders quit after she wins the Southern States, which is now unlikely.

Sanders quitting, that is. This is due to the Southern states heavily favoring Hillary but the National polls have them differing by 2%. So where do you think Sanders gain this missing support?

The GOP, if it has to, should nominate a Trump/Christie Ticket. Christie might be the only ringmaster who could handle that rabid baboon from Veep's Office.

He could shoot tranquilizer darts into Trump's hide when he starts getting "excitable" during dangerous and critical times..

If Republican leadership does not abide by The People's Choice, it will spell the end of the Republican Party.

Should they drop the choice of The People, then it's likely that The People will drop them, in their Senate and House races.

I seriously doubt they have the balls to play Chicken (engage in brinksmanship) with The People, given the mood of the country.

Democrats must be salivating over the prospect, and will, doubtless, encourage McConnell et al to do just that.
Last month Christie was warning America not to vote for a Donald Trump today he's endorsing him.

Mitch is bluffing before super Tuesday. He's trying to make a difference and help rubio or kasich

Yes, polls can change.

They can also change such that Hillary beats Trump by 15% and the GOP gets crushed in the Senate.

Perhaps, but he just sealed his fate in his next election.

Who?

"McConnell claims GOP will sacrifice White House, drop Trump ‘like a hot rock’ if he’s nominee"

And appropriately so – McConnell is a partisan hack and general scumbag, but even he has his limits of how low the GOP will go.

It's pretty interesting that establishment Republicans would prefer a Democrat over Donald Trump. It's almost like it's all a big fucking sham.

"Republican voters need only look to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to understand that GOP lawmakers will willingly sacrifice the White House in order to save their own hides."

And save the party as well.

What party? The GOP has been hijacked by teabaggers and religious nuts.
.
so who will McConnell chose for their nominee ... Sara Palin

McConnell is pissing his pants at the thought of a Trump Presidency. He knows his days in the Senate are numbered. He's got a great big bull's eye on his back.

Careful

The moderates in your party are willing to sacrifice elections in order to maintain control of the party.

Letting the dems win is not as bad as to surrendering control to its right wing or social conservative base. Of the three groups, the moderates are the least likely to believe the dems will destroy the nation.

So you're saying the moderates are fools? Since Democratic policies are doing a fine job of destroying the nation.

It is a big fucking sham. That's why rank and file Republicans are so pissed. Like Bush and Rubio, McConnell is tone deaf. They can't hear the freight train bearing down on them.
