Mayoral elections in Chicago tonight

Kind of depressing how few people actually voted. Only about half a million people in a city of 3 million.
Why would you be surprised with an electorate that is low-information and probably knows more about the Super Bowl then the politicians on the ballot?

Why vote? Democrats run the city and every politician is a carbon copy.

Well, yes, they aren't complete mouth breathing inbreds like we have in the red states, but there's a pretty wide gulf on many of the issues.

Sorry you are too narrow minded to see it.

For an ordinary instance of a really bad incumbent losing an election, you'd at least see the anti-incumbent vote split between two candidates, but adding up to something close to what the incumbent got. This wasn't just an ordinary loss for Ms. LightInTheLoafers; this was an utter repudiation of her.

I would agree. No one was happy with Lightfoot. The people who wanted police reform and school reform watched her knuckle under to the Police and Teacher's unions. The Police weren't happy because she tried to make some reforms stick.

But, hey, you are obsessed about who she was sleeping with, not where she stood on the issues.

Go **** yourself, loser.
