Also (and I can say this from the Hispanic half of my family), this is a great example of why the Dems are losing Hispanic voters. This video would infuriate them, and they're largely not thrilled with the Dems to begin with.

The Dems HAVE to drop the identity group stuff and treat everyone like Americans, focusing on the middle and working classes. Their allegiences are diluted. It may or may not be too late for a while. It's not a great sign that the Dems' best hope is the guy in charge of the other party. They have to do something themselves.

It’s a small price to pay for progressing in tolerance as a nation and a terrible reason to entertain a movement of backlash that results in a Trump administration which is an abomination to democracy and tradition and public service - which i am not accusing you of supporting.

Progress is uncomfortable and really for the young. That’s why people get crotchety as they get older and think everything sucks all the time.
