If an individual or group that leans right or is falsely lumped in with Republicans does anyone wrong, they take the blame and the people the left tries to tie them to also bear responsibility.

If an individual or group that leans left does anyone wrong, the people who upset them are blamed.

That is why terrorist attacks are blamed on capitalism or Islamophobes, not the radical Muslims.

BLM killing whites and cops is the fault of past slave owners and racists, not the thugs ambushing cops and other innocent people.

All the Chicago murders are blamed on the NRA, not the gang members and other criminals who actually do the killing.

In other words, they always find a way to blame their political foes.
