Maybe it's time for a refresher regarding trump's indictment for trying to subvert the election.

Jun 23, 2022 — Donald Trump hounded the Justice Department to pursue his false election fraud claims, striving in vain to enlist top law enforcement officials.

Three Trump-era Justice Department officials recounted persistent badgering from the president, including day after day of directives to chase baseless allegations that the election won by Democrat Joe Biden had been stolen.

They said they swept aside each demand from Trump because there was no evidence of widespread fraud, then banded together when the president weighed whether to replace the department’s top lawyer with a lower-level official eager to help undo the results.

Jan 3, 2021 — In an hour-long phone call on Saturday, Donald Trump pressed Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to overturn Joe Biden's victory there in the election the president refuses to concede.

Its not a crime to investigate fraud claims. Its not a crime of conspiracy to ask other members of your party for help.
Smith recognizes the very points you made at the beginning of his indictment of trump.

3. The Defendant had a right, like every American, to speak publicly about the election and even to claim, falsely, that there had been outcome-determinative fraud during the election and that he had won. He was also entitled to formally challenge the results of the election through lawful and appropriate means, such as by seeking recounts or audits of the popular vote in states or filing lawsuits challenging ballots and procedures. Indeed, in many cases, the Defendant did pursue these methods of contesting the election results. His efforts to change the outcome in any state through recounts, audits, or legal challenges were uniformly unsuccessful.4.

Shortly after election day, the Defendant also pursued unlawful means of discounting legitimate votes and subverting the election results. In so doing, the Defendant perpetrated three criminal conspiracies:

a. A conspiracy to defraud the United States by using dishonesty, fraud, and deceit to impair, obstruct, and defeat the lawful federal government function by which the results of the presidential election are collected, counted, and certified by the federal government, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371;

b. A conspiracy to corruptly obstruct and impede the January 6 congressional proceeding at which the collected results of the presidential election are counted and certified ("the certification proceeding"), in violation of 18U.S.C. § 1512(k);and

c. A conspiracy against the right to vote and to have one's vote counted, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 241.

Each of these conspiracies—which built on the widespread mistrust the Defendant was creating through pervasive and destabilizing lies about election fraud—targeted a bedrock function of the United States federal government: the nation's process of collecting, counting, and certifying the results of the presidential election ("the federal government function").

Trump is kicking so much ass liberals have to rehash old news to attack him. How pathetic.
Reviewing the facts about trump's crimes is an unfortunate necessity because so many trumples are still in denial about them.

The subject of Jack Smith's request to testify publicly so he can refute allegations made against him, primarily by House Repub's, has caused trump devotees to once again assume a defense crouch. Essentially denying the evidence in Smith's indictments. Refusing to read the documents, despite my best efforts, he has released in support of the case against Don.

So, I thought a walk down memory lane might be in order.

A. Mr. Trump's Pressure on State Officials

One of Mr. Trump's efforts to change the results of the election involved targeting the electoral process at the state level through politically aligned state officials. Mr. Trump contacted state legislators and executives, pressured them with false claims of election fraud in their states, and urged them to take action to ignore the vote counts and change the results. 22 Significantly, he made election claims only to state legislators and executives who shared his political affiliation and were his political supporters, and only in states that he had lost. 23

For instance, Mr. Trump and Co-Conspirator 1 called the Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives on November 22 and used false fraud claims to try to convince the Speaker to call the state legislature into session and replace Arizona's legitimate electors with Mr. Trump's illegitimate ones. 24 Co-Conspirator 1 tried to coerce the Arizona Speaker, including by telling him, "we're all kind of Republicans and we need to be working together." 25 The Arizona Speaker refused to do what he was asked and requested that Co-Conspirator 1 provide evidence to support his fraud claims. 26 Co-Conspirator 1 not only failed to ever provide such evidence, but he conceded to the Arizona Speaker at an in-person meeting a week later that "[w]e don't have the evidence, but we have lots of theories." 27 Despite this lack of fraud evidence, Mr. Trump and others continued to pressure the Arizona Speaker to overturn the election results. 28Mr. Trump similarly leaned on other state officials-always those of the same political party. On January 2, 2021, just days before the election results were to be certified, he called Georgia's Secretary of State and pressed him to "find 11,780 votes"-Mr. Biden's margin of victory in the state. 29 When the Secretary of State refuted Mr. Trump's false fraud claims, Mr. Trump issued a threat, stating that because the Secretary of State knew "what they did and you're not reporting it ... that's a criminal offense. And you know, you can't let that happen. That's a big risk to you ...." 30 Mr. Trump also pressed state legislators in Michigan by inviting them to the White House on November 20, raising false claims of election fraud, and bringing Co-Conspirator 1 into the meeting by phone. 31 Michigan's Senate Majority Leader told Mr. Trump that he had lost the election not because of fraud, but because he had under performed with educated females-an assessment that displeased Mr. Trump. 32

Of course, the section I pasted just scratches the surface. Smith's report contains much more evidence of trump's crimes and those of his co-conspirators.
The accusations that couldn’t be proven? By an illegally appointed Jack Smith?

You really want to remind us all how the demafasict weaponized their office?

If the prez avoiding accountability for the commission of crimes against the US is what winning looks like to you then we have very different views on what it means to be a patriotic American.

He's avoiding "accountability" because all of the crimes you allege were never anything more than democrats weaponizing the justice system and committing lawfare.

I think you need to do like Frozen and "let it go". That got baked in before the election and Trump won both the electoral college and the popular vote. Tell me when that walk leads to anything other than a walk on the "boulevard of broken dreams".

Did you see Pelosi's Trump meltdown, she's lost her mind. lol "He’s just a vile creature, the worst thing on the face of the earth,""Because he’s the president of the United States and he does not honor the Constitution of the United States. In fact, he’s turned the Supreme Court into a rogue court. He’s abolished the House of Representatives, he’s chilled the press, he’s scared people who are in the country legally.""
