May 2025 Republican lead Democrat +12 on the Economy.

We are in the first lap of Trump's economic marathon of disaster.

Unless Trump drops all the tariffs and at least pretends to be sane, it will get much worse.

Additionally, Moody just lowered the U.S. credit rating because lenders are losing faith that America will continue to pay its debts in the future....especially if this new disastrous "Big Beautiful Bill" passes Congress.
Lower inflation, lower egg prices, jobs numbers dwarfing estimates, GDP estimates of 4%, lower crime, Dimwinger darling gangbangers deported, secure border, two dozen American hostages released….etc….etc…..

What a disaster…..

…..for you America hating asshats.

Interpretation:

Despite economic challenges like inflation and tariff disputes, more Americans currently believe that Republicans have a better economic plan. Analysts suggest this may be due to messaging effectiveness or voter perceptions of economic leadership.

Remember we are five months into Trump's term. A long way to go.
leave it to the Dems to blame it on messaging .. no surprise .. for Dems messaging is more important than facts and policies .. believe it or not Americans are realizing that Trump is trying to do what's best for the middle class ..

As of March 2025, the breakdown of registered voters in U.S. states and territories that report party affiliation is as follows
  • Democrats: 45.3 million voters — 37.04%
  • Republicans: 37.8 million voters — 30.94%
  • Independents/Unaffiliated: 33.8 million voters — 27.6%
  • Other parties: 5.4 million voters — 4.42%
It's worth noting that these figures only include states that allow and report party affiliation on voter registration forms. In states that don’t, party alignment is typically inferred through polling.
You are missing about 35 million voters

There is one message they hate…..the one about making America great again.

Can’t have that shit.

Yes yes, lefties suck suck suck and you will tell everyone that they suck every chance you get. :itsok:

I have to say, your predictable, incurable smallism always brings me a smile.

Thanks tool.

Sadly, leftist idiocy isn't small.

Yep... You read that right. In May 2024 Republicans lead by +9. Today Republicans lead by +12.

Whatever you Democrats think you're accomplishing...it ain't working.

Plus, MAGA has depleted Democrats advantage on "represents the working class" from +23 in 1989...

...to ..

wait for it...

Zero.

If you are trying to make the case that many Americans are clueless rubes you are succeeding.

Nobody except Trump has been blinking so far.

And that should actually cause you some concern. The fact that OUR economy is so dependant on other countries should be alarming, and should get people to thinking that we need to start manufacturing our own goods again.

We're getting reports from China that their economy is suffering as well.

It’s not alarming to me, we are the beneficiaries of international trade. We are not some sort of victims Trump keeps trying to paint us as.

We have full employment, no plan to expand workforce and a mandate to reduce inflation.

To be in this economic situation and go for policy of broad tariffs is total policy malpractice.

It defies all reason except the reason of Trump being too drunk on power to resist unilaterally swinging markets.

Yes, and the fact that trade gets disrupted im other countries, or if a war happens in some country on the other side of the world can throw our economy into a tailspin shouldn't happen. WE should have enough manufacturing and material production in our own country to insulate us from the woes of global interaction. Not to say we can avoid it altogether, but we certainly shouldn't be THIS hurt by it.

Also, are you ok with China putting tariffs on our goods, when we weren't putting tariffs on theirs?

China putting tariffs on our goods, when we weren't putting tariffs on theirs?

When have we not had tarrifs on Chinese products? What are you talking about?

There has always been back and forth but Trump's across the board tarrifs are nuts and were proven to be based on total horseshit calculations.

To anyone familiar with global trade, though, the numbers on the chart made no sense. The European Union, for instance, was listed as putting a 39 percent tariff on American exports, which—even including non-tariff barriers—is way too high. Conversely, there are countries on Trump’s chart that have relatively high trade barriers—like Brazil—that were listed as having a tariff rate of just 10 percent. So where were these numbers coming from?

The answer, as I first reported on X, is surprisingly simple, and surprisingly silly: To calculate a country’s “tariff rate,” Trump’s team simply divided our trade deficit with that country by our imports from that country, and declared that the resulting number was the tariff rate “charged to the USA.”

We are in this position because we did no incentivize and encourage businesses to remain in the US.

We are in this position because we did no incentivize and encourage businesses to remain in the US.

Businesses have been leaving the US for decades, under both democrat and republican presidents and congresses. But frankly I see the democrats' policies as disincentivizing and discouraging businesses to remain more than the GOP does. Higher tax rates and a greater regulatory burden courtesy of the dems are the primary culprits.

Exactly, because dems wanted to raise taxes and regulations on businesses which drive them out of the country to places more favorable to production.
